Injuries…Cedric Benson's season is over. The Chicago Bears' running back needs surgery after injuring his left ankle Sunday -- another setback for the team's first-round draft choice in 2005. Benson, who took over this season as the Bears' starter after the trade of Thomas Jones to the Jets, broke free for a 21-yard run in Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. But he was hurt as he landed while being tackled by Denver safety Hamza Abdullah and later had to be carted off the field following the second-quarter play… |

You might be right that the stats slightly points in the skins favor. But there is a lot more going on now than just the stats. I don't see how the Bills didn't really let the air out of this team. How can they not be complete exhausted both physically and mentally. They had at best two days to prepare after flying to and from ST’s funeral and I don't think they could be very focused regardless of what they say. Some people think they are going to rally this week and get a win for ST? LAST WEEK was the week to rally and they blew it...or at least their couch did. That has to be demoralizing.
I think they may put up a fight, at least for the first half. But I just think they are going to fall on their face. Their season is over and I think they know it and I think they are ready for it to just be over. They also might have the worse couch in the league!
I think da bears will have more fight left in then than the skins at this point. As long as Griese can resemble an NFL quarterback (my biggest worry) and not have 4 interceptions, I think the Bears will win this game. If you do think the Skins will win this game I would rather take the Skins -1.5 in the first half. The Skins will fall on their faces in the second half like they always do. If they did last week, why in the world wouldn't they this week then?? They for sure were trying harder and wanted it more on Sunday than they will tonight!
I would lean towards the over but I don't feel that confident in it because I think the line is probably pretty close to where it will end at. I'm also surprised that under the circumstances the line isn't at least CHI -1. If the skins do win, I think it will be close. The way they melt down in the 2nd half and run out of steam, I think it will be close no matter which way it goes.
CHI 20 WAS 17
I'm already in for:
CHI +3 and teasing CHI +9 with OVER 30 (this one seems good to me)
I'm tempted to take a little on the CHI ML but I may just leave that alone.
GL to everyone on their play today
