Our goal-tending prodigy has been recalled and is slated to start tomorrow night. I feel bad for him having to start behind this porous defensive unit and against Nathan Mckinnon and Co. but he's been dominating the AHL from the get-go and is the heir apparent to Lundqvist.

Colorado getting shut out the day before Shesterkin has to now play them doesn't bode well. That offense won't be shut down for long. They looked horrible tonight.Weeds

Kid played pretty good after the shaky start...so...what's the Rags next move? A trade of Georgiev for what a top Blue Liner or more O?
Yeah, wasn't spectacular but he was solid. Nothing one can do on that first goal that caromed in off a body part and then the McKinnon break-in all alone two minutes later and I was worried but they played tighter in front after that and he did what he needed to do. First game, got the win over a strong offensive club. I'll take it.
Georgiev will probably get moved for a prospect and a pick. I don't think his value is high enough to really get anything major back and so far only rumors I've heard involve Toronto who want him as a back-up. Have to see if anyone thinks hes starter worthy and willing to give up more, but I'm not holding my breath.
