You all know. You all get it. I know and I get it. The Chicago Bears are a bad football team. They can't defend and they sure as hell can't score like they should. Many people have questioned effort and desire with this team and to date, they haven't won 1 home game.
So why now? Because there's still half a season left. That's a long time. They will start by destroying the Vikings at home, if not destroy, they will at least cover and win in a decent fashion.
There are several factors that make the Bears the play today and why everybody should just lay the 1.
Bears tossed Santonio Holmes to the side and activated 2nd year WR Marquess Wilson earlier this week. He's 6' 4". Not sure how many snaps he will get today but the word is, he's one hell of a guy. A great locker room guy who lifts everybody around him. This is what the Bears needed. Marshall is 6' 4". Jeffery is 6' 3". Bennett is 6' 6". Vikings are throwing out cornerbacks like Captain Munnerlyn 5' 9" and Josh Robinson 5' 10". Xavier Rhodes tops out at 6' 1". Even if the Vikings are able to get a decent pass rush, this match up advantage for the Bears is just to much of an advantage. Cutler can do his typical "throw it up there" throws and his guys 9 out of 10 times will come down with the football.
What also should worry Viking backers is rookie Teddy Bridgewater. He's a Florida native and this will be his 1st cold weather game in the NFL ever! 30 degrees at kickoff with slight wind today. He and his team come into Chicago with 2 straight wins but you can't trust him in this spot. You shouldn't.
The Bears resurrect their season today and next weekend against TB setting up an interesting battle on Thanksgiving in Detroit.

Rooster(dude), the Bears game is being played in Chicago at soldier Field. North Dakota is the coldest state in the USA, FYI. Any other misinformation?

Bears fans are owed a HUGE W here. They will win at home today. Vikings with their rookie qb. Tressman and cutler are going to come out with a statement on this one.
I'm actually a packer fan.... But I know the bears aren't this bad this year. Maybe on defence yeah, but that just means the D is going to step up this game. Take the Bears and chill---
This situation reminds me a lot like the patriots situation a few weeks ago

I already said the Redskins game was played in 50 degree weather. Did you miss that? This will be Bridgewater's 1st real NFL test in cold weather at a stadium with tricky winds.

Run game has been successful for the Vikings which should have opened up the pass but they're not allowing Bridgewater to toss it down field, there's a reason why. He can't handle the cold.
at the guys calling the game after the Bears were down 10-0.
