To say this kid had nothing to do with Seattles success is silly.......& comparing him to Tebow, or to say Tebow could've won yesterday, is an insult to Wilson. They don't get there with Tebow.......or kapernick.......or Griffin.......or Taneyhill......etc.
Now where did I say he had NOTHING to do with Seattle's success..now you are making things up.
I said he is not ELITE..I also said he did not have to do much in the SB to win the game, he merely had to not mess up..I did not say anything else but that.
He is not elite, not even close...time will prove me correct.

OK......fair enough. I don't think he's elite either.........but I don't think anyone should dismiss the fact that the kid is smart & has the tools to make a lot of plays. Had he done nothing in the SB Seattle probably still wins it..........but since Denver shut down Seattles running game, which I'm sure was their goal going in, it forced Wilson to "be" the offense........& he did well. He did more than just "not lose the game". He was sharp & smart........made some very nice throws.
I'm sold on him being a winner..........but probably wouldn't draft him very high on a FF team.

Wallstreetcappers Im not sold on your capping skills! You bet the wrong team and lost! Peyton Manning is a frontrunner who piles on stats during garbage time! When it counts he does what he did on sunday......loses! #GOHAWKS #BOOM

Oh I got it..
If I question Wilson then I bet on the Broncos...right.
It wouldnt have anything to do with the team I follow is in the same division, that we play Seattle twice a year and so I get to see him play regularly..

Nah that isnt it...
Dude Wilson and the Seahawks are the Champs...Get over it. As far as Wilson being the worst QB in Super Bowl history. Obviously your history only goes back 5 years. Wilson is a good QB who will only get better. Just because he doesn't have Brady or Brees numbers doesn't mean he isn't a good QB. Look at his QB rating. What he does have is a Super Bowl Ring and that's something only the select few obtain.

IMO a good QB isn't only based on lofty stats. A good QB makes good decisions, is a team leader and can handle the pressure of high profile games. Wilson seems to excel in all phases of that much better than Luck or RG3.
My rankings of the Young Turk QB's based on the total package not just numbers.

Wow with logic like that, who could even try to debate the topic.

I'll still take Griese to All of them when I was a little kid guys all day long. Throw in the No-Name D as well right? Made my teen years $ What were they 17-0 ? That's right PERFECT.

72 Dolphins were 1 of the previous 6 teams to play at least 15 pts from the league average in both offensive and defensive QBPR.
Of the previous 6 teams to do that, 3 were part of repeat SB winners 50% and another made the SB the following season only to lose, that makes 4 of 6 SB winners getting back to the SB, 66.7%.
Another 5 teams played at least 15 pts above the league ave on both offesive and defensive QBPR but failed to make the SB, of those 5 ...........2 made the SB the following season.
That's a total of 11 teams in the SB era with 6 making the SB the following season 54.5%.
It's not a large sample size but then again it could not be expected to have a huge amount of great teams, but it's starting to add-up boys and girls and it aaallllllllllll............. points to a repeat SB for the Seahawks.

They play against him twice every year and they still can't get it done.

If Tim Tebow was QB of the Seahawks yesterday, the Seahawks still would have won by 28+. Any QB in the NFL or Canadian League. 2nd string, 3rd string it doesnt matter. They would have destroyed this Broncos team. Any thoughts to the contrary is just misinformed and nonsensical.
I know Wilson is black SB winning QB and it probably doesn't sit well with you but this's just ridiculous. If you just single out one game, you could also assume Carson Palmer would have won the SB had he be the QB for the Broncos....

Anybody with a brain knows that this kid is no Superior talent physically, i get it. Hes just beyond Humbling, very VERY Intelligent, Mature beyond his years, accepting, and i could go on for days how much of a great human being he is, but since the topic is measuring how talented he is, ill stop there.....thats the funny thing, hes slightly above average in "Talent", but what a wonderful human being he is, Pete Carrol probably playz with himself thinking about this kid

This thread proves how much power the media has at shaping and forming people's perception of sports.
The media loves VOLUME STATS, stats like passing yards , passing for many yards does not produce winners, effiency produces winners in sports not volume.
Pass for a high average per pass and a low int rate and you got yourself a winner.
Wilson stands alone at the top as the only QB in NFL history to produce over a 100 QBPR his 1st 2 years in the league.
Wilson is one of the greatest winners the sport has ever seen, he has records set for never being blown out of a game for many, many gamers in a row going back to his college days.
To say this guy is average in talent shows the power the media has at shaping and forming the masses perception of sports.
Wilson has every ingredient to win and win big in sports.

SS - not following?? I'm saying i don't think Denver will get over 20 & are more likely to get less than more. Somewhat bold statement considering Manning could well be the best ever coming off a record breaking season & with all his weapons.
Just think the Seattle D is the worst possible matchup for them with the pressure they can get w/o extra help, Peyton's inability to scramble/run & their pressure secondary & solid run D. Combine that with a buckin workhorse like Lynch & a good gm mgr who can run & extend plays vs only a high side mediocre D at best & the Bronc's have serious probs imo. Not to mention Peyton's never handled consistent pressure very well & is vulnerable to coughin up the ball at times in those situations. Sure, anything can happen but Seattle looks like $$ to me
Very prophetic
...............OTOH, the OP has dropped off the earth.
