I normally bet an equal amount on all games, but this week I really like the Pats -5 and am making my first Play of the Week for NFL where I'll play it for double what I normally do... This is no doubt a square play but I don't see how this game stays within 10 points. Pats are playing very well and this line is what it is because of the crazy fluke W for Cle over N.O... Stats for the Pats on offense are very strong and most importantly I'm judging by the eye test for this one. The Patriots defense has steadily improved over the past 4 weeks. If I had to predict a score I'd say NE 27-13

Saints -6.5... Carolina is terrible and the Saints seem primed for a bigtime run toward a top seed in the playoffs imo. They're starting to get healthy and I just think that they'll carry momentum into this week. I expect a similar score to the Saints game @ TB for this one.
Giants -6.5... The Giants have the best defense in the league imo. Seattle is a hostile road environment, but I just don't see how they take this one. Seattle may contain the run, but I think Eli and the passing game will get what they want in this matchup.
Colts +3... Peyton Manning as a dog, gotta bite. Vick is on my fantasy team, but wouldn't be surprised if he's a little rusty in the first start back. The Colts D was flying all over the place monday night. They have injuries, but they're playing well right now as a unit.
Falcons -9... really, who has TB played and beaten?? Az? Cincy? Stl?... please. I love how their coach goes out and proclaims they're the best team in the NFC, that was really smart imo because it's just feeding extra motivation to a very strong team in Atlanta for game on their home field. TB played one team, N.O... and they got HOUSED by 25 pts... I wouldn't be surprised if this one is a blowout. TB is very young and haven't done much expect for beat below average teams so far. Don't think TB is nearly as good as their record indicates...VERY VERY VERY soft schedule thusfar.
Very square week so far except for Atlanta, but I like the card a lot, and I think favorites are going to start hitting more often after the ridiculous dog run over 60% ATS for all games the first 8 weeks

I hear ya, but TB will be and already is one of the most popular public dogs for this week. A lot of people are going to buy into the fact that they're as good as their record. I don't think there's any chance they make the playoffs... btw they did give up 35 pts to the Arizona Cardinals last week. I just don't think they've played anyone and really if they're that good, then why is the line 9?? It means take Atl imo... bol though
