I obviously follow and know the NFC Central very well being a Packer fan living in Chicago....
I see these teams play every week...
Here is my opinion on the game Monday Night....
Both teams have records they dont deserve...Bears are 2-2 but got completely dominated by the Panthers...they didnt deserve to win that game and if it wasnt for 3 big plays they would have lost....Bears could easily be 1-3....
The same goes with Detroit...everybody sees 4-0 and says WOW....but come on, they havent beaten anybody....Dallas isnt good...even the comeback isnt good...Minnesota isnt good...Chiefs are worse and TB week 1 doesnt have much value...playing just average teams Detroit would have been 2-2....you wont come back from 21 points deficits against the top teams...so enjoy your 4-0 record while you have it....
Here is how I see this game...
The Bears will NOT be able to throw the ball, if they attempt too Cutler will probably leave the game on a stretcher...it is going to be a game of draws, screens, swing pass and flat outs...Cutler will not be able to take a 5 step drop....That being said, I dont feel they will be able to run either...this isnt Carolina's defense here...Lions front line is going to control this game and with Fairley(spelling) coming back thats a huge boost....I dont see how the Bears move the ball....
Moving on to the Lions...Their offense I think is also in trouble...They shouldnt be able to run the ball either...Now Calvin is a different story...If Stafford gets protection he should be able to move it decent...But, the Bears dont blitz, they dont really have too because of their front line pressure...so I can see alot of mistakes by Stafford...
This is the first big game for Detroit since I dont even remember when and I dont feel like going to look it up...
This stadium is going to be rocking....I actually had an invite to go but cant get off work...but I think the atmosphere is going to be amazing...The home field advantage is going to be HUGE and cause so many fits for the Bears....
Unless, the Lions kick the ball to Hester, I dont see how the Bears get more than 2 tds....
Good luck to you all, just wanted to add my opinion
