I can't remember a bigger Sandwich spot than what the Giants face this week
Last week, a game at historic Lambeau vs the defending Super Bowl Champs Green Bay.
This week, a game at the lowly 49ers.
If they win, they get a game likely vs the dynasty New England Patriots and Tom Brady (which is also a SuperBowl rematch)
The Giants fans better hope the team is focused on the 49ers and not looking bad to the Packers or ahead to the Patriots, or else they will be in trouble,

Lol theyre looking ahead for the Patriots. How could they even be looking ahead when they dont know what team theyre playing against.? Add to the fact that its 2 weeks away

WOW I have been on the fence on the Pats game but this may sway me to Balty + the points as the last 3 threads I have read already have NE in the superbowl!

very astute observation... i have very little doubt that Baltimore is going to win this weekend, and i suspect it won't even be very close...

And if the GMen wins, they play @ Lucas Oil where his brother built the team.

Giants are thinking about stopping Tom Brady. They have the SF game already won in their minds.
i don't think the Giants are the kind of team that would be thinking about a game that is still 3 weeks away, and isn't even a certainty... i'm sure they know the Ravens are more than capable of winning... and they also know the 49ers are the most dangerous team remaining in the playoffs... would be very short-sighted if they are thinking about the Patriots at this point... i'd say Pats - Giants is the game i least expect to see before the end of this season... nobody should be thinking about that matchup... least of all the Giants...
as far as i'm concerned, the 49ers - Giants game is the Super Bowl, and the winner of that game will dispose of either AFC team... Giants would be wise to be thinking that way, too...

It is not humanly pos. for EVERY player on every team to be so focused and jacked at this point, that most of them will need a sleeping pill tonight, because they are ALL jumping out of their skin excited and hyped.

lol,,im pretty sure for professional athletes this isnt falling in the "sandwich" spot hilarious post tho
I'm happy I could provide you expert cappers some comedic relief, and also to learn something from you guys who say you can't have a letdown or lookahead game in the playoffs.
