5 of the last 6 matchups between Bal/NE have been decided by 6 pts or less. The one DD win was by Bal.
Baltimore won their only meeting this year in Baltimore where they were 2.5/3 pt faves (now the line is -9/9.5)!
It's fresh in our minds that these two teams played in the same venue in last years AFC Championship game where NE narrowly escaped. A Lee Evans dropped TD away from Baltimore winning and a Cundiff 32 yd fg attempt missed to send it into OT.
Baltimore, winners of 3 of their last 4 (SU & ATS) have been getting more healthy and are a "different" rejuvenated team. And fresh off a big upset at Denver as 9/9.5 dogs.
Meanwhile, Gronk has just been reinjured and is done for the remainder of the playoffs.
All this and books through a giant -9/-9.5...the same line Baltimore just won last week with. Public/majority seem to be all over the Ravens like they are stealing.
hmmmm.....going to wait to see where this line moves before I make a play

Cal, I see the emotion carrying over to this game. U win a game like that u buy in. Only thing that might take that energy away IF the pats jump out early. Ravens have to strike first that's key.

This game is staying within the number for sure if baltimore doesnt win straight up. Same line as last week. They cover one week, they don't the next. LINESMAKERS ARE FUNNY LIKE THAT. REMEMBER THE FSU-14 and then UF-14. FSU COVERED AND LOUISVILLE WON STRAIGHT UP.

LIKED BALTIMORE ...BUT THEN I HAD THE SAME TOUGHTS ... ARE WE MISSING SOMETHING ... BEFORE THE LINE WAS SET, I HAD RAVENS AS A 5 TO 7 PTS UNDERDOG ... RAVENS +9 SEEMS LIKE A GIFT TO ME (ALWAYS DANGEROUS) ...

All year long I've heard people call this a "drop".....the ball wasn't dropped. It was knocked out of his hands by Patriots defensive back Sterling Moore. That's called making a defensive play when it matters. Far different than a drop and the Ravens "should have" scored a TD. Does anyone ever give defense credit for doing something?

Alec- sometimes it can be to good to be true and as you stated, that can be dangerous.
Faulk- drop or knocked out, the gist is balt nearly won the game and folks remember they were 1 play away from victory, hence, +9 looks inticing. GL w/your boys...would love to see a NE/SF rematch.

Ravens obviously match up great with NE due to beating them this season and were the better team in last years AFC Championship game. Brady was awful last season in AFC championship game, what's changed this year besides losing Gronk? The Denver game was on Saturday affording Baltimore and extra day of rest. It's the playoffs and this team is playoff hardened, sorry I don't see fatigue playing a factor when you have 7 full days to recover. Please someone tell me the last time the Ravens were beat by 10 pts in a playoff game? They smoked New England 3 years ago in the playoffs in New England. Baltimore is hot, I can live with taking the points here and whatever happens. Patriots are going to have their hands full but Brady is a winner next to that overrated Mr. October they faced last week.
Why would Peyton go to Denver where he'd have to play outside when he's historically pitiful in cold weather? He's the best regular season dome qb I guess but nothing more.
