Lots of love for the Clippers tonight. However, this is just a terrible spot for them tonight. This is their 6th road game in the last 9 days, 3rd in the last 4 days. They finish up their road trip in Washington on Saturday, then go home to face the Spurs on Monday. They've won 2 in a row and 3 of 4. They have been favorites in all 5 games during this road trip, but only covered in 3 of them. Nets are well rested and coming off a nice win against the Celtics with Deron back. Tonight is a statement game for the Nets at home, with KG and Pierce going up against Doc. They go to Detroit tomorrow night, so if they win tonight, a fade could be in order tomorrow. But, I think they give it all they have tonight. My only reservation is the coaching matchup. Doc has a significant advantage over Kidd in that department, which could be an edge in a close game. That's why I am taking the Nets in the 1st half tonight. I think the Clippers won't have the greatest energy out of the gate tonight and the Nets will be ready tonight. Clippers had an emotional win in Boston last night, coming back down at half. I think and am hoping the Nets jump out to a lead and ride it through the first half, and then maybe they get the win, but maybe Doc out coaches Kidd and the Clips come away with a late win.

Both teams are well rested tonight in a revenge game for the Blazers. Earlier in the year these teams met in Portland. Rockets were in a tough back to back road game and 3rd in 4 days, but they were coming off a blowout loss in LA to the Clippers and used Asik and Howard on the court together to out rebound the Blazers 47-30 and outshoot them to a 116-101 win. Blazers were on nice rest in that game coming off two wins in a row, including a win against the Spurs. Letdown spot for them and didn't get the job done. Tonight, I think the Blazers come to play looking for revenge and will shoot the ball much better than they did in that previous game. The Rockets won 2 games in a row at home with good defense, but tonight they will have to keep up with the Blazers. On the road, the Rockets are an over machine, not able to feed off the crowd with their defense, they try to outscore teams. They are 7-2 for the over on the road, as oppose to 4-9 for the over at home. I am taking the over in this game tonight. The home and away over under record for these teams combined is 15-5 for the over. When they Blazers are less than 5 point favorite, the over has it 7 for 7 times. When the Rockets have been less than a 7 point dog, the over has hit 4 for 4 times. Jeremy Lin is back tonight and Asik is still out for the Rockets. Asik started last meeting and provides good interior defense with Howard. Without him, the scoring will be a bit easier. I think these teams will fly up and down the court tonight. These teams combined average hovers around 40% from 3 this year. Last meeting they shot a combined 16 for 53 from 3, which is only around 30%. They did get to the line a ton, but I see that happening again tonight with Joey Crawford a ref tonight. In his 19 games this year, 14 times the over has hit. When the total was over 205 points, the over hit in 6 of his 7 games. I think with Asik out, combined with both benches able to score well, this will go over tonight.

Great analysis and tremendous bet for even money. I completely agree. The Brooklyn crowd will carry them initially.

Loving Washington on Saturday! Clips finishing a long road trip with Spurs coming to town in their 1st home game in a while 2 nights later!

Might be an ugly game with Wizards going to Atlanta tomorrow night then have to travel back home. At least the Clippers will have a day of rest. Gotta see results of both games before I think about Saturday night's game. Jah feel?

I agree it won't be easy, but Washington is solid at home. Plus haven't played since Monday. I would venture to say Washington is getting close to 5. And I really feel The Clips will be overlooking big time. Spurs are the class of the West. Need to be real focused for the most fundamental team in The Association

Any reason not to take the Blazers as well? Seems like Rip City will be in full affect, revenge factor too...
