Seems like the coveted spots in each conference to avoid Boston and Nuggets. So let's breakdown how that plays out.
1 vs 8
2 vs 7
3 vs 6
4 vs 5
1 vs winner of 4/5
2 vs winner of 3/6
1/4/5 vs 2/3/6
3-6 is your best shot to get to Conf Finals

First though I want to see what it would take for Heat at 8 seed to get to 7 and avoid Boston, that is critical, and you know the entire Heat organization will do everything to make that happen. If Heat get 7 seed, then they get a vulnerable Bucks or a Knicks team and would avoid Celtics until possible the Finals. The fact their last 2 games are hosting Raps twice that puts them at 46 wins if they win both. So, that means Philly who are currently in 7 at 45 wins would have to win remaining 2 games to get to 47 wins and avoid 8 spot b/c they lose tiebreaker to Heat by virtue of tying series but losing division record. Philly wants to avoid 8 spot as much as Heat do.

Sixers want to avoid play in
Pacers want to keep #6
Knicks can still grab #2
U think too highly of Miami, don't like Herro+Rozier combo
Feels like magic or pacers get sacrificed somehow

clippers are only up 1 game with 2 games to go.

Straight wagers said clippers have it locked up but thats not entirely true. My point was dallas can still pass the clippers if they lose both games and dallas wins both games. Man some people here just love to be cocky

thank you for clarifying as you are 100% correct if Clips lose to Jazz And Rockets and Dallas beats Pistons and at OKC then Mavs surpass Clips. Not being cocky. Pls accept my friend request. Good luck tonight

Cocky remark wasnt to you, it was to the other poster.

well so much for dallas wanting to pass the clippers. They rested their best players for some reason. Must have felt no way clippers would lose 2. Wonder if clippers now rest their whole team tonight

oh man I don't want to do this but I think I have to as halftime approaches in Portland, my Blazers absolutely suck but if there ever was a time to show out 2nd half this'd be it in last home game against a crap team coming in on tail end of a b2b from altitude at Utah
thanks

Warriors are playing like they don't mind where or when they play play in which is probably about right as they'lll get the win no matter what

If Suns tank this game and allow Sac to get to 47 (if Sac beats Blazers Sunday) wins that screws both Warriors and Lakers...hmmmm? 2nd half Sac play?

Wow this 2nd half Phx/Sac is huuuge....if Sac loses Lakers get out of the play in, if Phx tanks and lets Sac win they essentially put both Warriors and Lakers in play in but then Phx has to win maybe at Minny to avoid play in...crazy

Here's my takeaway from tonight. Warriors know that no matter where and when they play the League will get them a win so it doesn't matter if they start in Sac. Would not be surprised to see them lose last game vs Jazz
Currently Phx is losing to Sac, if Sac wins AND (that's a big and) beat my Blazers last game the Lakers are regulated to play in against Warriors...a nightmare for the League. Kings have always been the sacrifice either they lose tonight or lose v Blazers so sad to get LeBron in again
