Phoenix Suns without Frye are returning home for their first game after a 9 day, 5 game road trip. First game backs usually result in tired legs and sluggish play. Steve Nash is talking about having a groin injury and might be hampered, but according tohis quotes he can tough it out. But it is the injury to Frye that will really hurt Phoenix.
From SB Nation: Channing Frye has the highest plus/minus rating (+93) of any player not named Steve Nash (+289) and looking at the five-man unit plus/minus chart on NBA.com, he is in the top eight groupings. He's easily the second most important player on the team this year.
Phoenix is also not the run and gun team that they once were, although the addition of Aaron Brooks has added speed.
Houston is playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and also the 2nd of a back to back after routing Sac last night. They are a hot team that is scoring a lot of points, hence the big number of 218. However, they also had a tough injury with Scola's knee injury. He is not ruled out yet, but it would behoove them to sit him down. Even if he does play, he will not be 100%
New lineups will be played for the first time by both teams tonight as they try to patch up their starting 5. Along with the perfect marriage of two travel schedules, I really like the under tonight of a lofty 218 total.

Wow, tough loss on this one. 98 points scored in the first half and things looked good. Then Hakim Warrick (Frye's replacement) decided to score his career high, Vince Carter goes off for one shy of his season high, and Lowry hits a career high seven 3 pointers! Dear God. Oh well, still think the under was right play, both teams did not miss in the 2nd half as they put up 125 points and it still only cleared by 5 as they needed 15 with 1:30 to go, but they went ahead and scored 20

It is okay, we all get screwed over sometime by that one or two player who decides, "I'M THE SHITZ TODAY." I keep mentioning this, but it's like Amare Stoudamire who basically screwed everyone who was on Orlando -7 when he stole the ball in the last eight seconds and slam dunked it.

I lost the under, and I lost a middle (-3.5/+5) on a missed free throw by Steve Nash of all people
yea, that was brutal too. Had the Suns -4. Nash only shoots 92% from the line. But youre right, not as bad as missing out on a middle scoop for you, thats a rough one
