The thing that annoys me the most. Is when people place a bet and it wins, they get into a false sense of security that it was there actual research, science behind the pick, where as in rality, it was pure luck.....
NO ONE knows when a team is going to turn up / not turn up
NO ONE knows what pace the game is going to be played at
NO ONE knows if a key players shot is off, yet they keep on jacking up shots
NO ONE knows how the refereeing scenario will play out
This list can go on........
The bottom line is, its all luck. It is roulette dressed up in a different way

Yeah i'm with you, I don't bet as big as you, but everything that could've gone wrong for me recently, did too!
Some proper crazy results lately, none of which you could've really predicted - too many teams playing inconsistent at the minute = randomness. Its all about the "bouncebackability" though!

Punch yourself in the head. I've been there and done that.
Cut down and go slow for a week or more. Imagine if you didn't have a cushion? GL to you

You're not getting bad breaks; you're doing a terrible job of handicapping.
Pacers were a horrible play vs. Orlando. Obvious bounceback spot for Orlando.
Orlando moneyline vs. Boston was a terrible play. Obviously Boston was going to win, or Orlando was going to blow them out. No way the points were going to matter.
Golden State wasn't a terrible play, but I can't see why you'd want to put big money on it.
Clippers were a terrible play against T-Wolves. It was an obvious letdown spot after the huge, emotional win over Dallas.
Utah was a terrible play against Dallas. You had a top-5 team (Dallas) in a desperate situation against a team (Utah) that assumed they'd get an easy win because (1) Dallas was playing the second of a back-to-back in elevation and (2) Dallas had lost the night before to the same team the Jazz had beaten by 29 points two days earlier.
