Did you not WITNESS the scrubs from Cleveland he carried on his back for seven years? Can you name one player from those teams that you would be want to be on your favorite team’s roster?
I'd take Anderson Varejao.
I'd take Anderson Varejao.
I'd take Anderson Varejao.
Varejao's role was not to score. Obviously you should know that. He was the energy guy that did the intangibles just like Horace Grant did for MJ.
Let me ask you this, if Lebron is the best, why didn't he convince Wade to join him in Cleveland instead? Having said that, Lebron is easily top 3 imo. The best does not tuck his tail and run when the going gets tough.

I though Verajao was a decent player with good energy. It's hard to replace energy and energy and motivation doesn't show up on the stat sheet.
As for Lebron, he is the best individual player in the leaugue right now.
Is Lebron a quitter? Based on some retired NBA stars they considered him a quitter. He did quit on his team and supposedly they fired the coach to benefit Lebron. Unlike Jordan, Lebron didn't wait for other players to mature and become better players or get better players from the trade.
As for Cleveland, not having good players- what do you expect when you are small market team paying the best player in the league a handsome salary.
Lebron is a great player but he will have to share the title with Wade and Bosh. If he stayed in Cleveland, he would had have it all to himself. But I guess he felt he wanted to quit, or as you can say, didnt' want to try harder so he decided the easiest route was to play alongside other all stars. Now he can not have to try as hard and still possibly win the championship.

A wise man once said, "If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit." I think the same logic can be applied to Lebron James. The saying would be, "How can Lebron be the King, if he doesn't have a single ring?"
Is Lebron James the one of the best player's in the NBA today? Yes, that is not even a question worth asking at this point but remember that he is also one of the most physically gifted player's to ever play the game. At 6'8'', 265 pounds he should be one of the best player's in the league because of the mismatch problems he presents and the overwhelming strength he possesses. But a more important question is, "Is Lebron James a great teammate?" The answer so far in his career is no, and it's not even close. If he would have stayed in Cleveland and not bailed on the team that led the NBA in wins last year, they would be playing Chicago right now instead of Miami and with the team chemistry and Playoff experience they had they would most likely be heading to the NBA Finals, AGAIN. Lebron took the easy way out which he has every right to do but remember when the times get tough, the game is close, and the clock is ticking away, if things don't go Lebron's way you will see his character issues come to light like they have in the past. I think your letting your bias against Chicago and Derrick Rose (another great player AND great teammate) cloud your judgement in this series. Remember, Miami has the best player's, but Chicago has the best TEAM. Until Lebron wins a championship he will always be "Queen James."

Sportsnation?
Chris Broussard?
Allen Iverson?
... and you're lecturing people?
I don't hate LeBoob, but I do hate having to listen to moe-rons blow him all day.
Right now he's pre-Phil Jackson Shaq; and if he continues to only hear people like you and the "braintrust" that ESPN has assembled, that's all he'll ever be.
His go-to-move is settling for a pull-up with one foot inside the 3pt line.
In crunch time timeouts, do you see him focused or do you see him biting his nails like an 8 year old girl?
All these years in, and he still doesn't have a post-up game?
BTW what were Robert Horry's playoff stats all those years?
I hate off days.

Not gonna deny he might be the most talented out there but will NEVER be compared to Jordan in the same breath if you ask me.
