Royals: Many days I could just type same old, same old, same old and have a pretty accurate description of where the betting public and yours truly take separate forks in the road. Someone is throwing money at the Brewers for no reason I can discern. According to my numbers the Royals hold significant edges in starter, offensive probability and bullpen, so why should they be near even on the ML and paying big bonus bucks if they can win by 2 or more? The one reason I can consistently nail down is the old “Home Field Advantage” which the public has always been willing to pay a premium price for, and that will probably not change, at least during my lifetime. At +157 we need to win this game by 2 runs at least 4 out of 10 times, but I think it more likely we get that result 6 or 7 times in 10 plays.
That is going to do it for today I think unless something comes up later, but I think most lines are pretty solid right now with slight advantages one way or the other but nothing to play and then keep your fingers crossed for. Let it be what it is.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

One of the better teams in baseball against one of the worst. Game odds alone are way off at KC -108, but Key is really extracting value w/ the run line here. Outstanding.

Those are my probabilities on those games today. I do not wish to get into this type of thing daily, because then the questions will come one after the other. Why aren't you playing this? Why aren't you playing that? Your numbers agree! But, there are other considerations, so I am not going to go there.
