Immediate lean to Wash RL, Wash TT and full game over with Folty off, not one, but two 0 earned run starts. I can't make these plays automatic because there are so many variables. Maybe he's just in a heater and will continue to pitch well for a few more starts. What keeps this as a lean is Strasburg, which places a heavy emphasis on Folty being dominant again for Atlanta to have a shot in this game.
Lean : Washington RL
Colorado @ Pittsburgh
Line doesn't make any sense to me. Been looking for an opportunity to bet against Freeland, not sure this is it. This game is bigger than baseball, so I'll stay away and just let it be.
Philadelphia @ Boston
Eickhoff has been mauled lately, allowing 30 earned runs over his last 8 starts. Boston offense is starting to get things going, so one can't have any interest in the Phils on the road with a struggling Eickhoff on the bump. Porcello has had his own troubles, but he's off a bad start, at home, Phils' offense is not very good. Start sets up nicely for Porcello to control this game.
Lean : Boston RL and under 11
Chicago @ New York
Both starters not faring too well as of late, but both notorious gamers and generally show up in bounce back situational starts. That being said, DeGrom had that situation in play last start and he got rocked. I still think one of these pitchers twirls a nice start, and, in fact, maybe even both

The experiment with pulling Pelfrey before he gets to the third time through the order has worked, but will it continue to work. Baltimore is brutal on the road, they got taken behind the woodshed by the Yankees and Machado is still out (I believe, but waiting). All signs seem to point to the White Sox and yet I can't move away from a play on Baltimore, a potentially big one too
Lean : Baltimore ML and RL
Texas @ Houston
This game sets up as one that will get me into trouble, but I have to trust the lab work. Houston just lost two of three to the Angels against pitchers who aren't even near as good as Darvish, who recently didn't fare so well against these same Houston Astros. Normally, I'd be hesitant to back a SP again after they just faced the best team in baseball and lost. However, with Darvish, we're talking a SP with a pedigree for improving on past mistakes. He's tactical and he's catching Houston at a good time. Add to this, Musgrove was brilliant last time out and I don't think he is polished enough as a starter to throw back to back gems. Again, this sets up so nicely and could be big time trouble for me.
