I recently returned from the sunny shores of Montego Bay, the purpose of my trip was to meet the folks at BetJamaica. I was personally greeted by GM Scotty Johnson at the airport and given a brief tour before settling in for my first warm sunset to go along side of my cold Red Stripe beer. ( Great beer) Keep in mind there was ice storm as I left early morning in wintery frozen Nova Scotia so shorts, sandals and some warm sun was mighty welcome. The next few days I was able to take in and get a good understanding of what really does makes BetJamaica tick. Of course six years ago when The Greek opened the additional new brand BetJamaica they too faced the ultimate challenge that ever new company faces to reach the key critical mass to achieve success in an extremely competitive market. Since then the combined financial strength of Spiro, fast payouts and excellent Customer Service has earned BetJamaica their much deserved recognition and client retention across the industry and the nation.
Basically the nuts and bolts of BetJamaica are quite simple. The book is run by hard working good guys who pay fast and pride themselves on personally making sure that their clients are kept as happy as humanly possible. They have the old school mentality and it shows every time I heard them handling questions or situations one after the next, day after day. Do they have Pinny juice, no. Do they market like BoDog or Sportsbook.com, no. So why did and does BetJamaica continue to impress and grow in very turbulent times in this industry you wonder? Real simple, good fair joint who doesn’t screw people around and pay as fast or maybe faster than anyone out there today and for the last six year running. If you got a problem or need help you can reach a capable manager seven days a week until midnight as I know from experience that is often a beef with a lot of the complaints I hear on other joints.
Of course I did get to have some fun as well, not all work and reports for Lou in the sun. Let’s not attempt to kid you boys, I ate too much, drank too much, caught a monster fish, snorkeled, jet skied, beached it and then some. I don’t know if I could actually trade the big city life for island living however it certainly was a damn nice place to visit and I’ll definitely be back. I’d like to extend a huge thanks to Scotty, Herman, Shayla, Janice and the entire crew at BetJamaica as they made me feel right at home seemingly just like they do with their clients. Some of their clients have been playing with them going on fifteen years and I now know why they continue to stick around and keep referring their friends to The Players Paradise.
What can I say in summary? Would I play there and sleep just fine knowing what kind of owner and operation has my dough? The answer is I do. Other than that you boys will just have to find out on your own which books really do care if you’re satisfied with their service……….
Lou.
