You really think the Bears D is going to give up 2 TD's to the Chief's putrid offense? Even if the Bears turn the ball over in their own redzone, the Chiefs will be hardpressed to get a score. I don't see KC scoring more than 7 points and I doubt they'll get it in the endzone.
Here's some of my thoughts on the matchup that will be in my writeup later this week:
As for Bears offense, this game had the potential to be a classic "good Rex" performance after a classic "shitty Rex" performance....the Chiefs D-Line is not the same without Jared Allen, their corners are old/slow and their safeties suck... this lends itself to Rex getting time to operate and Berrian running free..... they should be able to hook up for a deep ball (or two). The Chiefs do have a good linebacking core, but they'll be busy dealing with a tough Bears offensive front and Grossman doesn't use the middle of the field often anyways. As for Chicago's D...The Bears are one of those rare defenses that don't like to even give up TD's in garbage time, they'll leave starters in just to preserve shutouts. KC will be missing Kennison again this week which means they're gonna be starting Bowe (rookie #1 pick). Gonzalez will have Urlacher shadowing him all over the field and Tommie Harris is healthy...this has shutout potential. The Bears lost Dvorchek and Brown for the season, but they have two, more than capable replacements in Walker and Manning.
If your league awards receiving yards I would think about starting LJ. Personally I would go with LJ and MJD if I had those two. Brown is a good option, and the Titans run the ball more than most teams, but LJ is the focal point of the entire KC offense and even if he can't rush the ball, they'll thrown screen passes to him all day long.
