After watching Duke get beat by Richmond ...I can see this game getting very ugly in a hurry...Stanford will unload on this Duke team all afternoon...Stanford -21 or more....

stanford's only east coast appearance...i would think that stan would light up duke for at least 3 quarters and get luck 300 yards to impress the east coast and southern heisman voters.

It seems obvious that Stanford should blowout Duke..84% of Covers on Stanford and 98% of bettors on Sportsbook.com on Stanford also...Joe Granville in the 1960's said about the stock market...if it's obvious it's wrong...or something to that effect...the Colonel likes Duke to cover...so maybe a back door cover is involved(no prison talk intended) gotta take Duke and the points. Too many people on Stanford.

I agree with everything you mentioned except the last sentence. Just because everyone is taking Stanford isnt a good enough reason to go the other direction. If Stanford is as legitimate as "everyone" thinks, they should blow out the Dukies by half time and coast to a win and cover. Best of luck any way you choose.

taking duke here, Haven't seen them play but I assume they are bad. The thing is that Vegas wouldn't just make a line so easy to loss money on a game. -18 was probably close to correct and now it is at -20.5 I will take Duke. Just the way the world works.

IN ALL DUE RESPECT, I THINK IT IS TOO EARLY TO MAKE THOSE ASSUMPTIONS. MID-SEASON OR LATE SEASON, MAYBE YOU HAVE A POINT. VEGAS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT A SINGLE GAME, ITS A PORTFOLIO OF GAMES. OBVIOUSLY, THERE MUST BE SOME LOVE FOR DUKE, OTHERWISE THE LINE WOULD BE MOVING HIGHER. I DON'T THINK VEGAS KNOWS THAT MUCH MORE THEN THE AVERAGE DEGENERATE 5 AND DIME GAMBLERS LIKE US AT WEEK 2. WEEK 12 WILL BE A DIFFERENT STORY. I AM PERSONALLY ON STANFORD -21.5. I THINK DUKE WILL PUT UP A DESCENT FIGHT FOR A WHILE, BUT I THINK THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT TALENT DIFFERENTIAL IN THIS GAME.

Is it because they are at home or talented or motivated or stanford is looking ahead to AZ? What is your rationale other than being contrarian??? Is it because 84% of the pollsters on covers are with stan, so the right bet must be Duke so vegas, and the offshore books can make money (as referenced above)?
