Betus has some, in my opinion, totally fucked up lines for the ACC. You know who I already bet for the max to win the division and conference. I wonder if the person who set these even watches football.
Odds to win the Atlantic Coast Conference Fri 8/31 1:00PM (EST)

Whoa...you have got to throw money on both Maryland and Ga Tech to win their respective divisions. They are obviously not the favorites but those are huge numbers to merely win the division. For what its worth, I think Virginia Tech takes the ACC this year. I'm a Clemson season ticket holder and feel like I know the ACC pretty well.

MD has a new qb and could be good - fridge can make anyone good.
I kinda like BC to win the division at +425
BC has the talent but they've had a rough offseason. I don't know that they'll be able to do it with the first year coach but its not bad value at +425. I really don't think FSU will get it done though

This may be a tall task, but a buddy of mine were planning on traveling down to Columbia the first weekend of October, as UK plays at South Carolina that Thursday night. I was looking at a preseason mag and saw that Clemson was hosting Virginia Tech that Saturday - and since Clemson is sort of on the way back home, I thought it would be great to head up there and see the campus for a day or two and experience Clemson football.
Is there any possible way you could get a hold of two tickets? I absolutely don't want to spend more than about $130-150 per ticket; I'm sorta hoping to get them in the $80-100 range. That may be impossible, I don't know, but since you're a season ticket holder I thought I'd ask.

You'll be able to get some outside the stadium. The stadium can hold up to about 86,000 people although capacity is listed at 82,000. Unless Clemson is undefeated , and that is highly unlikely, then you shouldnt have much trouble snagging tickets for about $40-50 a piece outside the stadium. I know that I personally won't have any extras but I'll keep my ears open. Tickets havent even been mailed out yet so just remind me again in a few months and I'll see what I can do.

Yeah, me too Linde - I sent you an email, let me know moreso when it gets closer to that time because I almost always hear of extra tickets when it gets closer to the week.

That's the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.
Their fans are trash and their girls remind me of cows.

Va Tech and Clemson have to be the favorites in my opinion, Miami will take some time with a new coach and you can forget about Bowden doing anything noteworthy anymore, he is a thing of the past

WahooS - that's one of the more ignorant statements I have read in a while... did you not notice the incredibly solid coaching staff Bowden has brought to FSU? FSU will be back and soon.

Wahoo wasn't saying anything untrue at all. Its known that Bobby Bowden does nothing on the sidelines. There's a reason why he has a great staff and produces coaches for other teams.

Bobby Bowden is a legend bro, we all know that, but he hasn't been effective in a long while, he is dormant on the sidelines and if you think that is "ignorant" then your wrong, not me, Florida St. was a dynasty and they are still solid, but that is about it, as long as Bowden is their taking up space then solid is about as good as it gets

and saying clemson girls are ugly is just wrong. no way.
it is hard to name many colleges in the south that don't have some good looking women, I live in Texas and I can say truthfully that there are more good looking women in this state than most I have been to, all these women have tans and fake tits, it is a beautiful thing

Don't believe me? Talk to former players. I have and I'm positive that Jimbo Fisher will get FSU back to where they need to be and soon.
Also, the new OL coach, Rick Trickett, is the real deal. Throw in Chuck Amato, Lawrence Dawsey (WR), Dexter Carter (RB), and Todd Stroud (Strength and Conditioning), and FSU means business.
cj - I've been to Clemson and been to games here in Tally against Clemson - those girls cannot compare with any of the big 3 in Florida. Maybe I'm spoiled.

I don't know much about UF girls but it seems like FSU and Miami have the hot girls that are freaky and awesome when you're 18-25 years old but Clemson has the kind of girls that are hot and you want to raise your kids. Maybe I'm completely off on that but thats what I've gathered in my experiences. Obviously there are exceptions at all of the schools but that's my stereotype of the 3.
