Wisconsin coming off a shutout win versus a formidable opponent, now has to go on the road in an early kickoff versus a hapless Illinois team before playing at Ohio State. I’ll gladly take Illinois and whatever points they give me. It also helps that this is Illinois’s homecoming game.

or maybe the paradigm has changed, and Wisconsin thinks its Bama light, and blows out bad teams, unlike sh^t Michigan who went up by 28, then gave 25 unanswered, before scoring the last 17 points, yet not cover...Maybe Wisconsin wants to to continue to get the sh^t out of bad teams, and make them like it, so they will be able to stay at an elite level, so they can perhaps stick with the juggernaut Ohio State and maybe pull the upset...If I were you, I would not bet against the Badger Train...

I was going to post the same thing before i seen your post .. this is a classic fiddle in the middle game for Wisky .. coming off blowing out a high profile albeit overrated Sparty team that is considered to be one of the best defensive teams in the nation and looking ahead to everyone's new sleeper to win the national championship Ohio St .. im not a huge Lovie Smith fan but there is no denying this is an excellent spot for his team .. I am seeing the fighting Illini at + 30 at Will Hill right now .. i might just wait to play the first half thinking if Wisky lets down it should be early in this game .. GL

True, but LSU will be home versus Auburn. What makes Wisconsin’s situation interesting is that it’s two straight road games after holding Sparty to 0 points at home. It fits this NFL situation play that I follow, although I don’t how effective it is for college.
Fade road faves coming off home shutout win if they have another road game after. Add the fact that it was a physical Sparty team plus Illinois’s homecoming in an early kickoff and I’m sold.

you may be right, but why would you bet against Wisconsin...honestly, the most important factor in your position should be whether Brandon Peters will start...If yes, then perhaps Illinois is the play...If not, then don't assume that Wisconsin will play passively like the sorry Harbaugh coached Michigan Wolverines did last week, until they woke up and started to play...Peters is the wild card in this matchup...

Because that’s why we’re here right? Anyone can list all the dominant teams in college football and bet them blindly. We’re here to look for situational angles to fade them. This is it. I don’t really use player personnel to cap games. College is all about next man up. We all know about Wisconsin’s stout defense. They are not losing to Illinois and mess up next weeks media hype vs Ohio State. We’re hoping for a sluggish game where somehow Illinois stays within 4 touchdowns.

I've been watching Illinois the past few weeks. Don't bet them vs. Wisky. They won't stop Wisky offense and I see their offense having problems scoring. This is going to be another shutout.

this line is moving it is now Wisky - 31.5 .. usually it is only sharp money that is moving lines this early in the week but do we really think sharp money is already pounding Wisky a public team that just trashed Sparty and has the Buckeyes on deck? .. I dont think so .. I think this is just the bookie moving this line on air .. Bookie pump fake .. currently at 31.5 i dont think it will get much higher than that .. come Saturday this line will drop a couple points imo

There's no point explaining to some of these clowns, even when you do it as well as you did they won't get it. They've probably never actually looked at a teams full schedule to pick out letdown spots they just bet based on the results of last week.
