Rough week last week....Looking to get back on track early with a conservative 1.75 U play.
To me Ohio is the better team and they are getting points.....Easy decision but went through a lot to determine the better team.......Both teams are 6-2.......Simply enough Buffalo has done exactly what they should have done which is beat up on 6 weaker teams than them and were beaten bad by two ranked teams......At first I was impressed by the fact that they only lost 20-40 VS OHIO ST but after taking a closer look at the numbers OH ST rushed the ball 45 times and kept their QB on a leash......Buffalo did have a pick 6 and really did not move the ball that well scoring half their points off turnovers.......OH ST got off to a 23 - 0 1st QTR lead before letting of the gas and getting a little sloppy......Tonight will be the first game they play a decent unranked team........I think Ohio is the better team looking at the schedules and the game stats.....Ohio opened the season getting killed at Louisville who are an obviously a much better team.....The reason Buffalo is favored is because Ohio are not 7-1 and lost to a bad Central Michigan team...I specifically remember this that game as I had the under in this game on a lost parlay.....Ohio only lost by 3 after turning the ball over 4 times....QB Tettleton threw 2 INTS. but only 1 was his fault......He is the star in this game, over 2000 YDS. passing 17 - 6 TD / INT. and is mobile when it matters.....I am not using turnovers strictly as excuses but sometimes they are just luck especially fumbles and the recovering team.......Ohio gave the game away and I believe they would win this game 85 of 100 times.........Ohio does have 2 quality wins beating a pretty good UNT team that is 6-3 and beating a high powered Marshall squad....I cant post all the number crunching cuz their aint enough room here but here are some of the "Preview" numbers in case you havent seen them which I believe favor Ohio after factoring not only the schedule but game stats and where they were played.......My prediction 24 - 17 Ohio. (unless they fumble it away)
