ohio state -3 max play
many may remember my only other max play of the year way back in september when the bucks traveled to norman. feel free to look it up. i got a response from exactly 1 person but i sincerely hope more people that him profited on what i was sharing. i see an erily similar situation happening in ohio states home away from home in the desert... go ahead and check out their record in the fiesta bowl... but thats not why i like ... LOVE this bet
1.ohio state is arguably the best defense in the nation in stopping the spread. game stats happen to back that up as well... #5 pass d in the country #5 D in the country...see a similar offense in oklahoma where baker mayfield had a season low 53% completion percentage and threw 2 picks. how on earth can i compare baker mayfield to DW???? well based on QRB it seems as though mayfield had a tad better of a season BM 91 qbr DW 82 qbr with 7 more interceptions. which leads me to my second point..
2 turnovers-- Clemson has a 0 turnover margin.. good for 68th in the country..DW just feels the need to do too much in games but now against the best dline he has faced all year and thowing into the smallest windows he has seen all year and man coverage all over the field. ohio states turnover margin is +16 good for number 3 in the country.. this is literally the perfect storm and something that will be a huge factor in this game. especially with how irresponsible DW tends to get with the pill. ohio state missed out on DW in recruiting and decided to settle for JT and i cant act like ohio state wasnt butthurt from that choice, but in this game id take JT over DW all day and the reason is that JT will not give the game away. on the flip side DW may single handedly lose this game for clemson
3-so we have a 1 dimensional team going against arguably the best secondary in the nation.. i would argue thats not even arguable...lol as all of these cats will probably start in the nfl next year if they chose to forgo their Redshirt junior year. yeah these guys are going to go pro after 1 year of starting so as to make room for 4 more 5 star dbs to sign in a couple of months thats absurd.
4. clemsons DLine... say what you will about clemson and their Dline which is solid, but i simply cant say that they are any better than michigans D which ohio state did finally figure out and wear down as the game went on.. this isnt a knock on clemson its just stating the bucks have faced a tough dline and came away victorious.
5.weather.... games against wisky, penn state, michigan state, northwestern... so what do they all have in common?? atrocious weather and extreme winds at over 20 mph. in those 4 games ohio state averaged 23 points per game. and actually if you throw out the overtime with wisky the average is closer to 21.. now in all other games ohio state averaged 52.5. last i checked the game in the desert will be climate controlled. ohio state wont score 52. nor should they need to. this clemson d will surely slow the bucks down, but im confident that given the extra prep the young guys on the oline will have a lot more cohesion than when they took the field against michigan.. scuttlebut out of the WHAC is that Ed Warriner has been working with the Oline as coach Stud may be ushered out the door at seasons end. Warriner is litterally an Oline Genius and im hearing the Isiah Prince is growing by leaps and bounds in the past few weeks. which if JT has any amount of time in the pocket he will pick clemson apart... thats a big IF though, but i like what im hearing.
6.Urban F Meyer.. i guess thats all the needs to be said and at the end of the day if that was only reasoning then it would be solid but for shits and giggles lets look at some silly meaningless stats
Urban F.. 9-2 in bowl games/3-0 in nattys/11-2 in revenge games
Dabs .... 5-4 / 0-1 in nattys/ clueless as to his revenge games
i see a lot of reputable guys going with clemson.. and i just dont see the love unless you are banking on the 3.5 points coming into play

No way. Clemson wins this game outright. Ohio st will struggle on offense with their garbage offense. They do have a good defense but will struggle to shut down the high powered Clemson offense.

i know clemsons O has potential, but O States D is probably 1A or 1B with Bama. if i had a dollar to place a wager... my money is you didnt watch a full ohio state game all year and your clemson knowledge is based solely on 2015 playoffs... best of luck on your plays

I watched both teams on multiple occasions. The Ohio St/Michigan game and Ohio St/Penn St are the two games that lead me to believe Ohio St will struggle offensively. Clemson offense is way better than Penn St and they struggled to shut down Penn st. Ohio St should have lost to Michigan.

clemson would blow penn states doors of 9 times out of ten...ohio state would blow penn states doors off 9 times out of 10.. it was an anomaly game. osu outgained penn state by over 200 yards and lost on 2 fluke special teams mistakes that urban meyer coached teams rarely make.it was a terrible situational spot also for a young team. back to back road night games in 2 of the top ten toughest places to play at night. and
also remember indiana then wisky, then penn state back to back to back games.. all 3 of those teams were coming off a bye when they played ohio state... that is absolutely brutal and unprecedented.
Clemson looked lethargic and slightly disinterested all year long. michigan was a tough test for ohio state and one they passed. and top to bottom michigans d is better than clemson. dline included in my opinion.
stats from football insider back up the way schiano defends the spread offense also. preferring to use defensive ends to contain a running quarterback as opposed to rush and make him escape as adjusted sake rate is significantly below the mean. i see the dline forcing DW into throwing into windows that are too tight a few times too many.. this game could get ugly if that happens

Clemson's D will show the OSU why they are 'Owned' by the tigers by returning Chuck PAgano et all, back to the defense.... This will be an easy Clemson cover advancing Clemson to 3-0 against the over ranked buckeyes
