I don't believe I've ever had a tougher Bowl season. Nevertheless I'm still pounding away and ended Tues with Duke and Over. Hope that momentum carrys over into the New Year.
NEBRASKA +10 (-125) This one is tough as far as motivational edge is concerned. I think neither team particularly cares about this Bowl since they played each other in the same Bowl last year. I think Pelini will stack the box to stop Gurley and force the youngster Mason to beat them with his arm. Can he do it? Probably but hopefully not by more than 10.
WISCONSIN -1 I think there is alot of value here. Wiconsin laid the preverbial egg in their last game against Penn St where they lost su as 25 point favorites. Obviously if that team shows up again this will be a loser but I think the team that covered 8 of their 9 games prior to Penn St is chomping at the bit to redeem themselves. SC is a pitiful 1-6 ats in their last 7 neutral site games and Wisky has covered 4 straight against non conference.
IOWA +8 Another case of who really wants to be here in this Bowl and I give that edge to Iowa who is playing a big name SEC school with something to prove. LSU on the other hand comes limping in without their starting QB. I don't know much about the backup other than he's a Freshman but I do know Ferentz's #7 ranked defense will be ready to rough him up.
STANFORD -6 (hook) UNDER 43 Michigan St is as dangerous as they come as an underdog as we saw against Ohio St but I've got to ride with the Pac 12 in this one. I couldn't find my stat sheet but Pac 12 Bowlers on New Years Day is usually a winning proposition. I look for Stan to treat this as a business trip as they are playing in their 4th straight BCS Bowl while Michigan St is making their first ever BCS Bowl game. MState being in the Big show without Bullough will probably improve on their 0-6 ats record against the Pac 12. Lets hope its by 7 or more points when they do. As for the total, I believe its the lowest total of all the Bowl games and rightfully so. Stanford has the #1 ranked defense in CFB and only gives up an average of 12ppg while State isn't far behind at 18ppg.

TORN about Iowa tho........ Think that LSU will have everything to beat them on the edges.... Iowa will hold up in the middle....
But what worries me is the Iowa offense....... haven't watched much of their ball but seems like a "control" style offense and just worried how they score in this 1.....
Line moved from 4.5-7.5 and I think that was with Mett known out......

Love your work Tree, but betting the Big10 on NYDay makes me nervous, I know each game is its own thing but their numbers in later bowls are awful. Have they been as bad covering as they have str8 up? Good Luck
