UCLA -3 (2 units) vs. Oregon - I finally got my NCAA record back to .500 with the UMass win, but now I might be stepping into another trap even though I avoided the last 2 that I've knowingly stayed with. This UCLA squad cannot afford to lose 2 in a row, and they've had 4 full days of rest since that loss to USC at home. The Ducks are undefeated at home going 8-0 so far, with some impressive wins against Stanford and Cal. They've lost their last 2 (both on the road) and are 3-3 in the Pac-10. The Bruins are 4-1 in the conference and boast one of the best defenses in the nation. One major problem I have here is that two UCLA players are listed as doubtful with concussions (Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, and Lorenzo Mata-Real). The scoring slack can easily be picked up by Kyle Love and Josh Shipp but its the big bodies down low that will be missed with rebounding and foul problems. I considered buying 2 points here but wasn't really confident enough to do it because of the possible trap. I'll just lay the chalk as is and hope for the best from this Ben Howland team.

Mr. LOVE is returning to Oregon and I believe that with his offensive effort Oregon the home team may press! Not the best defensive team in the world but very skilled offensively may be in trouble! i think that UCLA will use Oregon's aggressiveness against them! match up man to man and an occasional zone will create havoc! I like UCLA on the road -3.5! look for love to have 22 in about 9!

UCLA looks good to me. Oregon, while they have a good home record, they are not as good or as deep as they were predicted to be at the start of the season. Thinking UCLA sweaks one out here with good defense.

Analysis: UCLA is coming off its second home loss of the season, this one to their state rivals USC. Now they are going on the road to Eugene in a matchup against Oregon who is coming off back to back road losses against Wash and Wash St. UCLA is a fantastic road team having gone 3-0 on the road and another 3-0 on neutral sites.
However, with the concussion issues of two key players for UCLA and with their status uncertain, more and more I look at this game with the 4 guard set of Oregon, I think they will spread the court and have some success agains the UCLA D. Remember, Mbah a Moute is a key contributor and Mata-Real is a nice bench player and without these two playing, I think Oregon will keep this game very close and may win it in the end.
Key thing to watch for: Can Maarty Leunen contain Kevin Love enough and spread him out on the offensive end...I believe he can, thus the Oregon pick

Play UCLA they are getting a favorable line because of their loss to USC, they'll want to avenge that loss as well as the loss by 2 last year at Oregon. These 2 have hit the under 9 of their lasy 10 head ro head meetings.

It just seems logically that this game should have been set at around 8,9, or 10 pts. UCLA at -3.5 is a gimme! How can u pass that up! Even if I lose I will feel good about this decision.....

UCLA -3.5 and Under 144.5
UCLA never gets a favorable line from Vegas. They are one of the most public teams out there.
