For $200 to with $11000 - Now this is a tremendous amount of money for me. I know I am in a great position right now but i want to make sure I come out with something out of this. Can anyone help me out as to which bets I can make to hedge this bet?
I have already locked in: Kansas To Win Tourney at +700 for $100 Clemson To Win Region at +827 for $30 Georgetown to Win Region at +368 for $30
I'm willing to bet a little extra to come out with something here - just keep in my mind my resources are not exactly endless. Thanks for the advice in advance.

Quit throwing away money......If you dont have an endless amount of money then why in the world would you throw down 200 bucks on Wisconsin to win the tourney ? There is just about no way to try and hedge that bet right now

What you can do is hope wisconsin gets to the elite 8 and then start to bet against them in case they dont win. You could get screwed if they lose but cover. But might be worth a shot

You are in a pretty good spot right now...but stop putting money on teams to win the region...with little thought put into it, I would say that you should bet against them from the start, just enough to win back your 200, they should beat csfull., but where it all ends will probably be vs usc, however, if usc somehow gets beat by ksu then you could very well get to the sweet 16 vs gtown, zaga or davidson...you just need to have enough money to at least win back your 200, i think the goal at this point, is to at least not lose money...good luck

You would have to bet the moneyline on the opposite team. They are ranked pretty high so you would get better odds on the opposite team moneyline. Like nccashman said, i would start now. 200 first round, 400 second round and get bigger and bigger. Being stubborn with Wisconsin can be risky. You are in pretty good shape right now to come out with money if you play your cards right..

nice bet chrisbosh...I actually was thinking the same thing you are, because last summer i put $50 on 100-1 odds for wisconsin to win it all. I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to use this bet to make some cash.
I think I'm gonna hope they get to the sweet 16 and then start betting against them...but I don't know if i can do that because I am a Badger fan...let me know what you do.

madtownman...regardless of being a fan, if you have 50 to win 5000 you can definitely make some money by betting against the badgers...by betting against them you are not saying that you want them to lose, you are just trying to make sure you dont lose your money if they dont win...if they win, you win the BIG prize but if they lose you can still win a decent prize...

I don't understand where you say "I know I am in a great position" Wisconsin has a slim to none chance of winning the NCAA tournament realistically. Clemson to win their region is also a very very very risky bet. The best chance you have honestly is Kansas to win it all or Georgetown to win their region... which are not 100% by any means. You should hedge this bet by making a smart play which will pay out the money you are going to lose.

You got a good number on wisconsind...but RELAX..there is nothing you should be doing yet. At the tourney progesses then you hopefully will have a good hedge and a chance for a score BUT STOP BETTING. I hope you make a big score and it is possible, however it is WAY WAY too early to start hedging your bet. Again partner, just relax, get through the first weekend then reassess your position. I will be happy to go through your options as the weeks go by and I am sure other posters will also.
