Covers.com throwing Super Bowl bash in Las Vegas

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. And when in Las Vegas for Super Bowl XLVI, do as Covers.com does.

Join us at the luxurious Caesars Palace for our second annual Covers.com Super Bowl Party on Friday, February 3 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. PT.

Come chat with members of the Covers Team, including Covers Experts handicappers, Covers personalities, and Las Vegas oddsmakers and enjoy a few drinks and some snacks on us. Rub elbows with our lovely Covers girls and win some great prizes and giveaways.

More than 150 Covers members attended last year’s Super Bowl bash and we want to double that this year.

Well I almost moved to vegas I went to buy a house ,the realtor didnt comp it out I soent 750 on an inspection and appraisel for nothinng..then we went for a 2nd house.It comped i had to babysit the realtor to find one that did.I waited a total of 2 motnhs in this little motel room watching eveyone lose their hard earned money.deppressed..so I left.Just got back home by family..Its good to be home

what happened to the Pallazzo ??? I am in and out of Vegas all time since i live near here, and I think Pallazzo is nicer place then Ceasars because i bet at ceasars alot and sometimes they can really be assholes when trying to bet big on certain games and also they won't put halftime lines up on second half of games alot of times. might stop by anyway.

Analysis:

1* Under Royals/Astros (8:10 ET): I went a perfect 9-0 this weekend, including 5 for 5 in MLB! One of my Saturday winners (Oakland) came at the expense of the Kansas City Royals, who would eventually get swept by the A's, scoring only five total runs in the process. They certainly seem to have a more favorable opponent to start the week, but don't be surprised to see fewer runs scored than expected in Monday's opener....

KC will send Jeremy Guthrie out to the mound tonight. He should have no problem containing an Astros lineup that was shut out yesterday in Pittsburgh, losing for the 7th time in 9 games. While Guthrie is coming off his worst showing of 2013 last time out, his overall numbers remain impressive; he's 5-1 with a 2.82 ERA over eight starts. He's also never lost to Houston in three career outings, turning in a 3.68 ERA and 1.045 WHIP. Two of those starts came last year.

The problem with taking the Royals here though is the fact their offense is struggling mightily right now and that they average only 2.9 runs per game vs. lefties. That should give Houston southpaw Dallas Keuchel a decent shot at a quality outing. The Royals, like the Astros, come into this series having lost 7 of 9. In those seven losses, the Kansas City offense has scored a grand total of 17 runs. This game could easily turn into a pitcher's duel with the two inept offenses. 1* Under KC/Houston.
