Chicago Bears at Atlanta Falcons
Line/total: We opened the Falcons as 3.5-point favorites versus the Bears. We haven't seen any sharp action on the game yet, but the public is backing the favorite tonight. So far about 70 percent of the action is on the Falcons.
We opened the total at 44 and so far all the money is on the over. We're currently using 45.5 with about 85 percent of the action on the over.
Key injuries:
Bears - DT Anthony Adams and WR Devin Hester are both probable. DT Israel Idonije and Hunter Hillenmeyer have both been downgraded to doubtful. CB Zackary Bowman and WR Johnny Knox were both injured last game and are listed as questionable tonight.
DE Gaines Adams was acquired by the Bears this week, traveled with the team to Atlanta but is expected to be inactive tonight. Bears expect Gaines to make his debut vs. the Bengals next week.
Falcons - FB Ovie Mughelli and S Antoine Harris have both been downgraded to doubtful.
Comments: After losing their season opener to the Packers, the Bears have rattled off three straight wins both straight up and against the spread. They are off a bye week and the Bears are 3-1 SU, 2-2 ATS in their last four games off a bye.
The Falcons were off a bye week last week and rolled against the 49ers, winning 45-10 in San Francisco. The Falcons are 2-0 both SU and ATS at home. These two teams played last year at Atlanta and the Falcons came away with the win and cover.
Prop of the game: Michael Turner (Falcons) total rushing yards - 82.5
