Nazem Kadri had two goals and an assist in the Calgary Flames' 6-3 comeback win over the visiting Winnipeg Jets on Monday.

Sean Monahan's hat trick built Winnipeg a 3-1 lead through 11:24 of the first period, but the Flames fought back with five unanswered goals.

Kadri's power-play tip-in tied the score at 4:58 of the second period. Jonathan Huberdeau then finished off a nice passing play for the game-winning goal 16:06 into the second frame.

Monday's result ended both the Flames' three-game losing streak and the Jets' three-game winning streak.

Huberdeau and Andrew Mangiapane each had a goal and an assist, and Rasmus Andersson had two assists. Oliver Kylington and Blake Coleman scored Calgary's other goals.

Jacob Markstrom stopped 28 of 31 shots to earn his 18th win of the season.

Gabriel Vilardi and Kyle Connor each had two assists for the Jets.

Kylington's first goal of the season gave the Flames the early lead 4:19 into the first period, and Coleman scored at the 14:09 mark. In between those two Calgary goals, Monahan took center stage with his second career hat trick.

Monahan buried rebounds on all three of his goals, beginning with a power-play equalizer at 6:07 of the first frame. The forward struck again with an even-strength goal 42 seconds later, then completed the trio with another power-play tally at the 11:24 mark.

Monahan has 17 total goals this season, and four in six games with the Jets since being acquired in a trade with the Montreal Canadiens on Feb. 2.

The Jets are 4-for-7 on the power play in their last two games after going 0-for-21 with the extra attacker in their previous eight games.

The Flames put the game away with two more goals in the third period. Kadri's outstanding pass set up Mangiapane's goal at the 13:18 mark, and Kadri added an empty-net strike with less than two minutes left in regulation.

Connor Hellebuyck stopped 28 of 33 shots, ending his streak of 31 consecutive games of three or fewer goals allowed.
