Zack Moss rushed for 99 yards and a pair of touchdowns, becoming Utah's career rushing leader and lifting the No. 13 Utes to a 21-3 victory over No. 17 Arizona State in rainy Salt Lake City on Saturday.

Moss earned the school record on his second touchdown, a 32-yard sprint that gave Utah its final score with 5:24 left in the fourth quarter. He has 3,264 career yards.

Tyler Huntley threw for 171 yards and an interception on 12-of-19 passing before exiting with a leg injury in the fourth quarter. Utah (6-1, 3-1 Pac-12) won its third straight game and beat the Sun Devils for the first time since 2016. The Utes also earned a valuable tiebreaker in their quest for a Pac-12 South title.

Eno Benjamin ran for 104 yards on 15 carries to lead Arizona State. The Sun Devils (5-2, 2-2) could not get much going in the passing game. Jayden Daniels threw for 25 yards and an interception on 4-of-18 passing.

Arizona State finished with 136 total yards and averaged just 2.7 yards per play, failing to take advantage of four Utah turnovers.

Utah's defense dominated from the opening kickoff, holding the Sun Devils to 42 yards and two first downs before halftime. It helped offset a pair of fumbles that killed Utah's first two drives on offense.

The Utes finally got on the board early in the second quarter with a 10-yard run by Jaylen Dixon off a fly sweep. Moss then punched it in from a yard out to give Utah a 14-0 lead with 1:08 remaining in the half.

Arizona State finally got on the board midway through the third quarter with a 40-yard field goal from Christian Zendejas. The Sun Devils could not manage more than three points despite recovering a fumble from Huntley at the Utah 18.

Chase Lucas gave Arizona State another short field on the next possession when he intercepted a pass from Huntley near midfield and returned it 21 yards to the Utah 28. Bradlee Anae sacked Daniels for an 8-yard loss on third down to take the Sun Devils out of field-goal range and force a short punt.

The Utes put the final nail in the coffin by recovering a muffed punt at the Arizona State 32 in the fourth quarter to set up Moss' second touchdown run.
