1) The Wings will win the Stanley Cup in 5 gm's or less
The Pens are not better than last year--stop kidding yourselves pens backers--and The Wings are much better---Hossa, Helm, Filppula, Stuart, Ericsson--all playing and contributing more and more as the Playoffs unfold. The Pens have players producing but nothing like Hossa a year ago.
2) Say good-bye to Malkin before the Stanley Cup begins
Just like a year ago, Malkin will dissapear when playing against a disciplined defensive hockey club. Say what you want about Crosby but at least he took part in the Stanley Cup last year--unlike sissy Malkin
3) Valtteri Filppula is a Super-Star in the making
Even Teemu Selanne said it of this Finnish Beast. As the playing time increases, his production does as well. This Fin will be an all-star year in and year out in the years to come.
4) Conn Smythe winner
If Chris Osgood takes home the Conn Smythe then reserve his spot in the Hall of Fame, his numbers match the best of the best look them up. But after not winning it last years with his numbers it'll be hard to give it to him this year. Franzen, Zetterberg, and Lidstrom will be fighting it out after that. Going back to point 1 it'll be a Red Wing because Pitt ain't winning the Cup.
