buckeyes spring game attendance hit 81,112 this year
New England sports teams have had a very nice run, but that is all history and it's time for their teams to go back to the tail end of the standings where they belong.
See you next year Bruins, you couldn't even make it out of the first round.
The Red Sox are in last place and have the worst (or 30th best )pitching staff in MLB.
The Celtics are among the oldest teams in the NBA and are fading fast.
The Patriots window is also closing as it been 7+ years since they have won a Super Bowl.
Then there is Boston College who routinely finishes at the bottom of the ACC in both football and basketball.
Then you have the SEC who currently has the reigning National Champions in basketball in the Kentucky Wildcats.
In baseball the South Carolina Gamecocks have won the last two National Championships.
And of course the SEC owns football as between the Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers, Florida Gators, and Auburn Tigers, they have the won the last 6 titles in a row.
Armpit of America ?
You're just another bitter envious northerner.
Good day sir !

I'm sure he will if he uses the same tactics Tressel did. As long as I don't have to hear about Meyer being a "leader of men" and having "outstanding morals and ethics" then so be it.
I just don't want to hear the hypocritical bull shit about a head football coach being an outstanding citizen and leader. When in reality he is using questionable ethics and borderline cheating to get players to help win games.
I guess that is actually why I like Saban(besides the fact that he started at MSU). He is an ass hole and basically doesn't try to hide it. He is there to win football games by almost any means necessary within the rules.
I just loved seeing Tressel being put on this pedestal for so long and being perceived like he was some outstanding coach that would never ignore NCAA violations and would always do the right thing regardless of onfield consequences.
Oh and don't get to used to that Basketball title Calipari one you guys(I'm assuming you're a UK fan since your in Kentucky, forgive me if you're not), if history holds true it will be sitting next to his Final Four banners from UMass and Memphis soon.

Its very easy to explain why alot of SEC fans want the conference to do well as a whole... The winner is just about guarantted a place in the championship.. due to it being the best conference in football... not sure why that is hard for anyone to understand...

I was intentionally "over the top" with my SEC post (#20) in an attempt to agitate and/or irritate I_Need_A_Detox .
I do however support most of the SEC schools when they are not playing Tennessee. The exception being Florida who I detest and wish only the worst for (although I did root for them in the NCG when they played OSU). Since James Franklin has arrived in Nashville,I'm starting to feel the same way about Vandy as well. As far as Missouri and A&M are concerned it will take me awhile before they are no longer viewed as outsiders.
I have lived in the South my whole life and have dealt with many ignorant people such as Detox who like to portray us all as uneducated racists. For me part of my devotion for the SEC stems from my love of and pride for the South. I realize that it does seem a bit extreme to others but there is a definite bond between true Southerners that I don't think exists in other parts of the country.
