Even if Patrick Roy in net with Brodeur, must go with Pittsburgh here! Penguins now on a 14-2 run vs. ML in their last 16 games! But above and below statistics indicate win won't come easy for Pittsburgh!

Its where I get my hourly updated starting goalie info. It isn't 100% but it's close. Your right that he gets the start. He may have a good home record against the Pens but.............. He's starts slipping in the last 2 yrs. That stat gets screwy in 2009 when the devils when the devils swept the Pens 6-0. (quick yahoo search) Way different Brodeur and way different Pens. I'm a big fan of trends, and the one thing I notice is that Brodeur did hold them to 1 goal in NJ. This is also a divisional rivalry game that puts last games loser at home. Malkin will probably suit up (prob tues), and I'm not sure if NJ can keep up to the Pens offence. I'll be taking the Pens because they're too hot, the last time they met they were missing Letang and malkin, and the new kids are playing better in the line up since that game. I think those things out weigh the goalie switch factor.
P.S. I get my info through searching sites but if anyone can ever post any info that is better than mine (and yes blackball's info is right when the net/mine is wrong, sometimes) please let me know.
Hey check it out the Brodeur home record vs Pens:
The Penguins probably won't be too happy to see the 41-year-old. Brodeur is 9-2-0 with a 1.45 goals-against average in starting 11 of Pittsburgh's last 12 visits.
