How are the changes we made today looking. Hopefully they are not as much as an issue now.

Honestly, great! Thanks to all the changes Covers has made recently regarding the intrusiveness of the on-screen advertisements, I've installed several ad-blocking programs to remove all the advertisements from the Covers website entirely! My viewing experience couldn't be better now!

I can't read the right side of the forum sheet. (# views and # replies) You have a Streak Survivor ad there. I went to Firefox. Ad Block removes the ad.

It's better. The ads in the threads are the only ones that you can see from mobile devices so it's an obvious move for you guys to sell the space. The thin ads are a lot better than the big blocks.

What makes it so "difficult" when the ads are displaying properly? I really don't understand the issue people seem to have with a small ad bar at the ten post mark. It's pretty common from my online experiences.

Just because it's 'common' at other sites doesn't make it right. Covers has established itself as the premier venue for online sports gambling forums. Placing ads inside threads is a step backwards. I know it, others know it, and you know it too... so stop feeding us what you're shitting because it stinks. There must be a better way to bring in more revenue than to do something that takes away from the user experience as much as this.
That said, thanks to programs like AD BLOCK PLUS - which can be downloaded freely for browsers such as Firefox and Chrome - not only are the ads embedded in the threads removed, but also the side skyscrapers and top bars too. I had tolerated these usual ad placements for years with no complaints - but Covers has finally gone too far with the intrusiveness of on screen advertisements. But no matter, now I don't see any advertisement displayed on Covers and I've been recommending - and will continue to recommend - users to follow suit and download these ad removal programs.
I'm sure your advertisers will be thrilled to know that none of their advertisements are reaching my eyes anymore. All of this thanks to YOUR policy changes.
