Multiple oddsmakers provided insights on MLB opening lines and early movement, sharp money and public betting for Sunday’s game. Covers will update this action report with MLB sharp picks vs. public bets and line movement through game time.

MLB line movement

UPDATE 7:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: South Point sportsbook opened the Dodgers -140 and reached -163 in the past hour, but the number backtracked from there to -150, with the Braves +140. The total opened at 8, with the Under at -120, but the price flipped to Over -125 a short time ago, and the Over is now -115.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Dodgers opened -160, dipped to -150 and rebounded to -165 at PointsBet USA, and the moneyline currently is Dodgers -160/Braves +135. The total of 8 opened with the Over at even money, and it's now -120.

UPDATE 1:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: DraftKings opened the Dodgers at -139 early this morning and is up to -148, with the Braves +125. The total is at 8, with the Under priced at -120.

The Dodgers got back-to-back solo home runs from Corey Seager and Justin Turner as part of a three-run first inning Saturday, and that held up the rest of the way in a 3-1 Game 6 win over the Braves. That sets up a decisive Game 7, with first pitch at 8:15 p.m. ET Sunday.

Atlanta plans to start Ian Anderson, who is 2-0 with a perfect 0.00 ERA in three starts this postseason. Los Angeles’ starter wasn’t determined by late Saturday night, but The SuperBook went ahead and posted a line of Dodgers -135/Braves +125, with a total of 8.

MLB public betting

UPDATE 7:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The public is creating plenty of liability on the favorite at South Point sportsbook. "They're betting the Dodgers," sportsbook director Chris Andrews said. "We'll definitely need the Braves, not only for the game, but for the futures." That's because South Point has significant liability to the Dodgers winning the NL and winning the World Series. "We need the Braves pretty good."

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Moneyline ticket count and money are both running about 4/1 on Los Angeles. On the total, ticket count is 2/1 and money 3/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 1:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Early moneyline action is almost perfect two-way play at DraftKings, with 51 percent of bets on the Braves and 51 percent of money on the Dodgers. However, it appears the public is going for the plus money of Dodgers -1.5 (+135) on the runline, which is attracting 81 percent of tickets and 89 percent of money.
