According to a release, the pair's prior experience includes Twitter, Square, Zynga, and Warner Brothers, with Underdog having quickly elevated itself into a new tier of operations as the fastest-growing sports company in the United States.

The New York-based operation reports that it is approaching $500 million in revenue in just its fifth year of operations, with a potential for major growth to come following the launch of a new partnership with Crypto.com.

"Throughout their careers, Rishi and Kimberly have done it, demonstrating the ability to build some of the most globally successful consumer brands. We have ambitious goals and we’re building the team to take us there,” Levine added.

Underdog was recently valued at an incredible $1.3 billion, with $70 million in funding raised earlier this year.

What the new faces bring

Per Underdog’s Tuesday release, Garg and Corbett are set to introduce over 30 years of combined experience to the company, with each having led in prior roles with similar responsibilities.

Garg, a former Twitter top executive, joins with responsibilities covering finance, corporate development and capital strategies.

“From day one at Underdog, I could feel that the energy here is different,” said Garg. “After only 5 years, Underdog is growing fast and is beloved by fans. Right now, we have a pivotal opportunity to be a great consumer company and build the essential daily companion to the American sports fan, and I am excited to be a part of it.”

The company has an unwavering focus on the fan experience and a one-of-a-kind media ecosystem that makes it a unique place,” she said via a release. “I am thrilled to join the team, and I can’t wait to build on Underdog’s strong foundation to reach new heights.”
