Expect both teams to Come out quick in this game.. Both shot well 1st game but at a slow pace. Think that both teams can hit around 150 in this game. Would also think it's going to be a close game with more free throws and especially late in the fourth if the scores are close..

Minny's coach can't wake up teem defence. She was telling about it after 1st 10 minutes, she was telling about it in timeout after 6-1 LA run in 2d 10 minutes, now LA 15-4, and coach speaks again about defence...

well here we go again, nobody anywhere acknowledges the venue change of this Chi/Ind series, now that the convention is gone that forced G1 to be played at UIC Pavilion Chi is finally at home for a playoff game at their home venue All State Arena (where they haven't played since Sept 11th in a rout of Tul and before that Sept 6th in a rout of Sea). Moreover this will be the 1st true home playoff game for Chi since Sept 1st of last year as during their epic run to the Finals they only played 2 home games as G3 against Phx in the Finals was at UIC. Will anyone but your good buddy SW break it down for you? No,and that's why the only thing that's stopping me winning this contest is if the 3 people in front of me tail all my remaining plays.
Indy has admitted that they played tight G1 and now they are ready to ball. Chi has yet to find their offensive groove, EDD hasn't woken up and they have only been to the FT line a paltry 12 and 13 times. There is no way the league is going to let their darling, the face of the W go down. I expect Chi and EDD to get a ton of free throws and I love the fact that Indy feels good and thus will ramp up their offense too. Chi may start rusty at home in such a big game in front of what I would expect with MVP and 6th Man awards to be a racous, big crowd but I expect at some point they will find their groove, especially with Quigley and Faulkner coming off the bench and running, they have a 50pt half in them, they've come to far after last year to let this one go without airing it out. Indy seems like they are chomping at the bit to get their offense going not their D which I believe will help Chi ramp it up too. Should be a great closeout game.

Wagers, nice writeup as usual. But WNBA and "big, raucous crowds" don't rhyme. The only places with any decent following are Minny and PHX. I was thinking Indy +5.5, but not so sure. The total is pretty high for an elimination game. Indy's rookie coach will probably stick to the veterans, as she well should. And it might get scrappy. Indy has done a pretty good job shadowing EDD on every possession with a variety of defenders.

I agree Wagers with what Axion said. The Sparks game pulled just 3100 yesterday. Lynx and Mercury have the true followers but the other teams don't. But in saying that, I do like your play because I like the FG over as the Indy coach figured out her rotation by playing the rookies a lot less and I think we might get a high scoring game. Will wait till late though to see where the line and total goes.

hey guys i attended long beach state and at the time i used to play pick up games at the pyramid. rims to me were alot easier to shoot in that gym than any other gym. you can see the jumpers were falling ealry for both teams. well has for the game today i do believe chi will close it out. EDD just won mvp and thats why i backed indy for game 1. i think chi should roll today. or at least the first half.

brutaljoe is as hot as a pistol fella's. Dont follow at your own risk!
NEED SOME PICKS you are right on there. The Garden was one of THE most excirting places to be for a game that I have ever seen ,Say 20,000 capacity. So about 15,000 there. And i will be there on Tuesday!!
PLAY
IND-CHI 160 under..
Too many points for a "do or die" game. I got to believe Pooky will at least TALK about how they need to play defense and I know IND will be trying to stop EDD. This total is too high. More of an instinct play than anything else.

Good to know about MSG, Joe. I am thinking about over 1H @MSG tomorrow, and I think NYL might cover. All in all, however, this year WNBA produced the worst attendance numbers ever. Silver just gave an interview that can be summarized as "the WNBA product blows." But let's hope he is too scared of feminazis to pull the plug on WNBA. Indy ATS & under seems like an obvious play today, maybe too obvious. GL folks.

Hey AxE buddy!! Yes that game tomorrow I cannot get a good read on. Last week WAS looked out womanned. But still won. They are a real scrappy bunch. Line is 6! That is about right in my book. Laimbeer rests TC too much I mean she goes out and WAS comes back. Same with EP. Too much time on the pine. The o/u is about right as well at 140. And believe me WAS takes all of the 25 second clock on every possession my feeling is wait first half and then possibly hit the under like a short stay hooker iif so warranted. But line in that tilt is very sharp. Sparkies on other hand I think win/ cover. Something wrong with MIN Brutaljoe.

Wowza!!!!!!!! The Fever roll on... Fever the better team and crazy 3 point shooting... Loved the addition of Erlana into the starting line-up. Great work by the rookie coach..
EDD will have to wait another season. Pokey will go after this season. Also some big rumours, that Candace Parker is on the Fevers radar once Tamika retires. Crazy if that is true and Angel a potential Sparks player in the near future as well as she doesn't get along with Coops..
