I actually came up with a strategy to help this problem if let's say you have a 8 team parlay and the odds are relatively decent you bet 8 x 7 team parlays from the original 8 for maybe 10 to 15% of your normal parlay bet on each one and it gives a profitable return if only 1 leg lets you down and you can also win 9 parlay bets from this as well

i took in game +8.5 when maryland was struggling.. their defense can get back in any game.. ive seen them down 20 and their defense brought them back to single digits and even wins..
