So far I'm 2-0 on the MLS season with FC Cincinnati ML and Portland ML in Week 1. I have a few games I'll be playing this weekend and a couple of plays you could parlay as well. My Saturday POD is Columbus ML (-160). The Crew went on the road in Week 1 and got dismantled by Eastern Conference favorite Philadelphia. No surprise in losing, but perhaps surprising how badly they lost, 1-4. I think the Crew looks to bounce back in Week 2 at home against DC United. DC United themselves looked leaky on defense and was one of the worst teams in the MLS in 2022. If you wanted, I think you could consider adding in an Anytime Scorer bet on Cucho at +115 as well. A few other games I'll throw something small on:
Arsenal ML (-$450)
Seattle ML (-160)
New England ML (-165)
Austin FC ML (+100)
LAFC ML/BTTS (+145)
You could consider piecing a couple of these together into a 2-3 team parlay as well. Arsenal plays EPL bottom dweller Bournemuth at home this weekend. It's a nice piece to add into a parlay. Seattle stays at home against Real Salt Lake. Seattle looked extremely focused in Week 1 and has one of the better home field advantages in the MLS. New England comes home to face Houston. New England was able to win on the roast last week and now faces Houston who will be playing their second road game in as many weeks. Austin stays at home against Montreal. Austin lost their opener against league newcomer St. Louis. A terrible defensive turnover gave that game away. I think Austin looks to bounce back in a big way this week. Finally, LAFC opens up with a home game against Portland. The Timbers looked solid in Week 1. I'm probably the least confident in this game only because I could see Portland playing spoiler, or this game ending in a draw. I like the BTTS prop, I'll pair it with LAFC winning. BOL!
