 used to work in Thailand for many years , in Koh Samui this beach restaurant had a "spicy seafood salad" , to the day cannot find the recipe

Is amazing the foods you get when you travel.  And think they common there and find it is just a local one. 
Maybe that was mainly something that one restaurant had.

 back in the days , hangover , i assume the days when you were touring with your 'Punk Band" 

thats what i was told by a few Thai chefs , perhaps a family recipe , they served me theirs , not the same
