Bolivia/Venezuela OVER 2.5 @ +133 (0.50 to win 0.67)
Ecuador ML @ -108 (0.54 to win 0.50)
should be home in time to make plays on the late games if I see any...nothing standing out for me in the Colombia game, not inspired to bet for them, no value to bet against them

So i am waiting for the lineups but here are my thoughts for the Colombia Chile match. Colombia are not in the best form right now, but we do have some recent history with Pekerman in charge of Colombia to look back on to give us an educated guess here. The 2 games that come to mind are the Brazil match and the Argentina match at Copa America. In the Copa America opener for Colombia they lost to Venezuela. In the next match they had a big rematch against Brazil, and they came out in a VERY defensive formation with the intentions of stealing a goal against the run of play from a set piece. They did just scored on a corner kick and held Brazil scoreless. The next game they drew Peru in another terrible outting (a win would have seen them take 2nd and play somebody other than Argentina). Then they played against powerhouse Argentina in the next match, and again stuffed 11 men behind the ball with the same game plan as Brazil.
SO, the takeaway for me is that when the team is out of form, and then has to play a powerhouse side (which for my money Chile has become in the past year) Pekerman is happy to get his team in a defensive formation and look to catch a goal off a counter attack and a set piece. From what I am hearing, James Rodriguez is available but unlikely to start, which means that especially in the first half Colombia will defend with numbers, and make look to steal a goal late once he comes on. All of this being said, my leans are towards the UNDER for the full game and the UNDER for the 1st half. Whether or not you approve of this type of play, its undeniable that they have proven they can do it affectively as they held both Brazil and Argentina scoreless for 90 minutes. Additionally for this reason I have no interest in betting Chile at this price because Colombia is effective in this set up and a 0-0 game could come through here. Against Uruguay, Colombia played a more open game because they were looking for 3 points, today they might be okay with getting a point.

So James starts, but I forgot Cuadrado was red carded, and it looks like they will err to a more defensive formation. Haven't seen them in this formation but with Sanchez Mejia and Torres as defensive-ish midfielders I think they want to keep this a low scoring affair. I'll go UNDER...
Chile/Colombia UNDER 1 1st Half @ -122 (0.61 to win 0.50)
Chile/Colombia UNDER 2.5 @ -124 (0.62 to win 0.50)

Good Job bro, hoping you can shed some light on Paraguay Peru tonight. I think I am going to come back today on Argentina, smaller than yesterday's cancelled bet....

Zamigo, I just purchased The BEIN TV channel so I could watch all the South American action.
I was in the US for two weeks in Jan - for the copa - and purchased the BeIn Sports as well - but the app - surprised how difficult it was to get the games elsewhere. I was happy with their service...

Good call mate! I think you and I are the only ones that bet on a Peru win. I got tired of telling everyone to pick the win. Everyone else seems to have played the over... Anyway congrats to us

Okay finally we get another great chance to back Colombia at a worthwhile price. Argentina are obviously a powerhouse even though they are a bit depleted. Colombia has given Argentina a hard time in the past at full strength but today things seem to be aligned nicely for Colombia to get three at home. Obviously Argentina are in a situation where they need points, but I think they are mentally going to be caught between going all out for three, or taking a point here and waiting for their superstars to return. I think Colombia gets up for this match in a big way, while knowing they have a golden opportunity here with the Argentina side depleted. I think they go for all 3 points here, unlike in Copa America where Colombia was the depleted side and they came out to hang on for penalties.
Venezuela/Ecuador DRAW @ +215 (0.50 to win 1.08)
Venezuela has been bad and Ecuador has been on fire, but Venezuela are traditionally a difficult team to beat in Venezuela, and Ecuador have had trouble in the past. Venezuela should look to tighten up defensively and Ecuador may have trouble getting through. On the counter attack Venezuela should create some chances and with Rondon up top, stealing a goal against the run of play is certainly forseeable. Ultimately I think the form of Ecuador is too good to lose this game, but the difficult nature of this game in Venezuela should make getting all 3 points a difficult task. Best value bet on the board for this game.
GL today all, will look at the later matches and be back to discuss them

Zamigo, Sorry to say, we are on different sides today. I have Arg @ 3.34 in a small parlay, and Ecuador @ 2.51. Otherwise, I'd be cheering with Colombia with you.
