peter, can't wait for tomorrow, the "over" night of the year
Barb, hope all is good with you and yours my man
I would lean the baggies in today's game but no play for me unless something catches my eye in running

Unfortunately its another 2 horse race by the looks of it, neither side signed a "galactico", barca signed better quality in Vidal and Turan but neither can play till the new year with their xfer embargo.
But its hard to see them being stopped with Rakitic and Iniesta supplying the best front 3 in all of football.
Real's big change is Benitez taking the helm and I do rate him but you need to have the thickest of skins to coach Madrid and he lost a few mind games at Liverpool so I do have doubts about his temperament at this level.
Bale and Ronaldo are still at odds and the fact that Barca were able to retain their title after such a sluggish start speaks volumes about their character. And the spanish supercup result is an irrelevance.
You won’t get rich backing them at 4/6 but they are the most likely winners. La Liga as a whole fails to excite me, I don’t see any value in anything else here, Atletico will come 3rd again, but everyone else is an also ran.
In the relegation market I got 4/1 on Grenada to go down which is good value as its 5/2 elsewhere and the clubs that have come up have played in the top flight before.
Serie A looks much more interesting and I’ll post a preview of that friday evening or saturday morning

Very interesting Serie A season in store,
Juventus going for 5 in a row but the gap looks to be closing, both Milan sides spent well in the summer, this’ll be a season too soon for them but its worth taking on the Old lady at odds on now.
Juve have bought well in getting the versatile Mandzukic and Dybala but I think they will rue the departures of Tevez, Pirlo and Vidal.
Benitez left Napoli and has been replaced by the inexperienced Sarri and I think this could be the year for Roma, they’ve been knocking on the door the last couple of years, have signed Dzeko and Salah and those may be the final parts of the jigsaw they need, 6/1 on Roma is worth a poke with Juve maybe having a slight hangover year after that CL final loss and the loss of some stars.
Nothing in the relegation market as 2 minnows coming up and I can't pick the 3rd team to drop down, may buy Inter points this season, they will definitely improve
