So I started off the season quite hot, taking roughly 800-2,200 a week from the bookie. I don't know my bookie personally, I go through one of my buddies and he meets up at the drop where he pays on Tuesdays and gets paid on Fridays. Anyway, this last month I've been getting hammered. We have a 7,000 limit, and on the last week of October I had to pay 7,000. Then, the week later, I had to pay 3,000. Last week I won 2,100 and got paid this Friday. I blew the account again this week, so its down another 7,000 and I have to pay on Tuesday. Now I realize that he was paying weekly with no problem (one week he was late by four days), but now i'm in over 6k to him total. (I was up a good amount)
My credit card is maxed out so I can't paypal until I get another one in the mail, and I already told my buddy to call and close out the accounts. I graduated from college over a year ago and got a stable job, but no where the amount to come up with 7K in one week. Should I ask him for a payment plan? My options of borrowing money is gone, due to the fact that I live on my own and that my buddies have also lost a shitload this year. Though many of you may say I shouldn't have betting with money I didn't have, I really didnt expect this implosion. It all happened on Monday of this week (so ive been down the whole week, and didnt dare to ask for a limit increase)....Started off with the Bills half for 1500, followed by the Clippers half -2.5 (Roger Mason Jr. hit a 3 to make me lose by half a point), 2000, followed by the Memphis/UMASS Over 2nd half (guy couldn't hit one out of three free throws at the end of the game, lost by a point) for 2500, followed by me trying to flip 1,000 into 7,000 on the online casino. Three horrible beats in a row, and I stuck a fork in myself. This whole week I brainstormed ideas of coming up with a quick 7K, but nothing really panned out. I have a paycheck coming up in a week for roughly 1600, but other than that, the checks won't be coming in for another 2 weeks. Thus, it would take roughly a little over 2 1/2 months to pay the book back without gambling. I hung it up for good (just too many highs and lows for me) but im in a pretty shoddy situation. I figure maybe someone on covers.com will know the best way to handle this situation. please, no responses of betting big on one game this week, running away, etc. Thanks in advance guys! |

The Chargers are -3.5 for the first quarter and -14.5 for the game. I'm quite confident that the Chargers took a nice week off after being on that horrendous road trip and will be fired up today against a lowly Chiefs team that collapsed last week. In all the Chargers wins, they blowout the team early in the game. Look for the first quarter to work and the Chargers to easily cover the spread. Good luck all, i'll see you at the counter after the game.
until then |

wow how bad was that. Missouri about to score and decides not to kick the field goal. 92 run after that, what a moose to cover the spread for K State. grrr |

I've only played one first quarter line this whole season and that was when USC played Washington State. I think this is another great game for a first quarter line.
Missouri is going to come out fired up after their close win last week. On the other hand, with the firing of Kansas State's coach, look for this team to be lost tonight. I'm liking Missouri first quarter, first half, and for the game. Best of luck all. See you at the counter! |

Wow, does FSU not want to win this game? Nothing ever comes that easy with this team...

We'll everything went Clemson's way on that drive and they still managed to only put 3 on the board. Let's get a good drive here and take care of business..

Already hit on Wisconsin halftime, very confident on the Seminoles for the 2nd half.
I've been watching this whole game. If FSU didn't spot Clemson 10 points to start this game would be a blowout. Add a muff putt for a touchdown, and Clemson is lucky to be in this game. It's Bowden's 79th birthday and expect FSU to win this game easily in the 2nd half. Come on boys, it's clemson on the road. Enough said. FSU (Pick) at half. Take it and I'll see you guys at the counter after the game. |

Was looking at this game before kickoff when it was -9.5. Been watching the game on the Big Ten Network channel and I must say Wisconsin has done everything possible to keep Indiana in the game.
The 2nd half opened at -4.5 and jumped to -6. Take Wisconsin at -6. Though Indiana gets kick off, look for a quick three and out and Wisconsin to roll in the 2nd half. Enjoy! |
