I got San Antonio as a pick at -105. Why are they a pick?
Because it could be a trap, in favor of your Spurs.
If you figure the spread out on your own, you'll find that the raw spread should be -0.45, so basically a pick em. BUT that's the raw #, not factoring in the customary additional 3 points oddsmakers give to the home team. So technically, it should be Spurs -3/-3.5
Now the question we need to ask ourselves is why did they not give the home 3?
I'm pretty sure squares -casual bettors- would think Cavs all day long, especially as a PK, so they may really try to lure them in when they know the Spurs should take this by a triple.
Other factors to consider: Spurs have won the L10 S/U against the Cavs and have gone 8-2 ATS H2H. All good things got to come to an end maybe? Do the Spurs sweep the series against the Cavs? Spurs have been on a roll lately, winning 6 in a row S/U (albeit over some cupcake teams and teams that have struggled bad lately) after dropping 4 in a row to some teams that actually mean business. So...is the streak a sham? Will they finally lose now that they are actually playing some good competition in LBJ and the Cavs? Or has SA finally turned a corner now that the Playoffs are getting closer, with teams like OKC and NO trying to both make it in and bump someone (SA &/or DAL) out.
Myself personally, I am on the fence as of right now. I'm going to have to wait a while to see if I get any other indicators before I make my decision. What I can tell you know....this is gonna be one HELLUVA game! Good luck.

Well put Buck. This is a different CAVS team than in the previous matchups, Spurs did just take down TOR and a beat up Bulls team, but this is the time of year this Spurs team gets things rolling, look back at the last two years and you'll see what I'm saying
