This should be easy for you since you claim to know more about these topics than I do. Since you claim I'm the ignorant one... you should have no problem exposing me, right? I expect you to duck me like Floyd is ducking Pacman.

I love how you just easily justify your position by saying since there was no laws back then… technically they are not criminals, but now since there are laws, it’s a crime. The idea that people believe that their ancestors were just “immigrants” because there was no laws in place or simply because their ancestors put their name on a list, and people today, who came here for the exact same reasons, are now considered “illegal immigrants” is insane.
The Republican Party has figured out a way to indoctrinate people to believe that today’s immigrants are illegal’s and immigrants of the past were settlers. My solution is for the US to just buy Mexico, so we can stop this ridiculous debate for good.
I've been looking at what other countries do for a couple of reasons. One, the subject is interesting to me and I have been researching other countries that I might be interested in retiring to or living part time in retirement. Other countries follow what the US does? That is beyond laughable. Regarding immigration, the US has some of the softess laws and especially enforement in the world. I do not see other countries following this example, they are getting more strict and requirements are getting tougher.
I'm not going to apologize for how people's ancestors came to America. It was a much different time then versus now and yes much different laws. The US needed more and more people back then to grow and prosper, it's basic history. And since we are supposed to be a nation of laws, immigration is part of that. We simply cannot have open borders and allow anyone and everyone to come here. No other country in the world does that, why should we? Many people came here before there was a need for immigration laws and quotas. Since then, there has been certain requirements and laws to follow. Sorry if that is an inconvienence to people south of our border. Do you really want to go back to the time of no immigration laws? Let's see that would reinstate slavery and women would not have the right to vote. Seems to me that we have made the needed adjustments to laws or lack there of over the years to have the country evolve correctly for the most part.
Not all of today's immigrants are illegal, just those that choose to break our laws in the process of coming here because it is too inconvienent for them to wait in line and do what is needed to do it legally. As stated, we need to make this process better and easier but it is still no excuse for this problem. This has nothing to do with some grand scheme by the republican party to make people believe anything, it has to do with the rule of law. I'd love to be able to dismiss laws that I don't agree with in the name of "fairness" or whatever other PC BS you want to come up with, but it doesn't work that way.

Club, I honestly don't blame them either if that is their only choice to feed their family. The fact is it is illegal to enter the country without a visa or such and a felony to do so again after being deported. Yes the companies (and politicians on both sides) are guilty as heck by welcoming, pratically inviting immigrants to come here and work illegally. Companies save money by paying less and not providing benefits. It's the new slave trade that needs to stop.
Just how do the immigrants not here legally get employed? Every job I've ever had, I had to show my SS card. Either they are using a stolen or fake SS card (another crime) or the businesses are just paying cash off the books (against the law as well).
If we truly need the workers, then we need a better temp worker program to easily allow people to come here for work that is needed. With so many Americans out of work, those factory jobs or whatever should be offered to Americans first, then open up to temp workers if needed.
Nobody does anything about it because everyone is in on it. The businesses want the cheap labor, Americans want lower prices for goods and services, The Dems want the potential votes when/if the 30 million are made legal and the Reps want to appease businesses and increase profits for corps.

My two other big issues with illegal immigration is the fact that so many people are getting hurt and dying because of this. People are dying in the AZ desert trying to walk a long way to their pick up points or they get dropped off in the middle of nowhere by their coyote human smuggler. Women immigrants are getting raped and brutalized by these human smugglers as well, it's not right.
I think we can all agree that most of the immigrants coming here just want to work oand provid for their family. However since we have a porous border we have allowed many criminals into the country that have come here and commited numerous violent crimes. The last report I saw showed that 27% of our Federal prison population is foreign nationals with 63% of those from Mexico. These people are not in prison for simply coming across the border, it is for the crimes they have committed once here. A lot of these are repeat offenders. I saw a study that looked at roughly 56,000 criminal foreign nationals and they averaged 8 crimes each and have been deported numerous times. They simply keep coming back to kill, rape and steal more and more because of our weak border security.

Interesting feedback from someone that has seen this up close. It is a very complex issue for sure. I'd like to see an expanded temp worker program that allowed for a path to full time residency and citizenship should they choose to. This would protect the workers, cut down on ID theft, and make companies be more on the up and up. Any company caught abusing this should get absolutely hammered. in my opinion.

Obama
was asleep? How is that possible, when there is a picture of Obama
being briefed? Hillary denied support for the men on the ground? That’s
another hilarious right wing conspiracy and another total lie. You
seriously need to check out the lies fox news spreads before believing
them as fact. Can't believe people believe conspiracies with no evidence. Too much fox news and Alex jones is bad for the brain.
Where
in Obama's job title does it say ATF agent? Obama wasn't the
director/supervisor of Fast and Furious. I don't see Obama's name
anywhere on the list of people in charge of that debacle. Where in
Obama's job title does it say IRS commissioner? The only thing you can
really say is Obama is possibly covering the fukk ups of his buddies and
that’s about it.
You can’t
compare Obama and Bush/Cheney... Bush Jr. is an oil tycoon and his
father was an ambassador, chairman of the RNC, the director of the
C.I.A, the 41st president and the chairman of the NWO. Cheney has 30+
years of political experience and was a director of the council on
foreign relations, chairman of the board/chief executive officer of
halliburton and was also a member of the board of advisers of the jewz
institute for national security affairs.
Obama’s a face, puppet, attorney, college professor and a community organizer with no experience in what the hell he is doing.
Dan, what ClubDirt said.

what time did Obama go to bed?
He had an important fundraiser in Las Vegas the next day and had to leave early in the morning.
I have no doubt he was briefed. I doubt he was in the situation room all night.
did you see the new email data that was brought to light after a FOIA was finally allowed?
Either way, I am sure this is just an Alex Jones conspiracy, or the Jewz, or the Japanese. Possibly even the right wing racists in the GOP. LoL. I am sure it is about race somehow.

Obama claimed executive privilege to cover the fukk ups of his buddies. Fuk ups that lead to Americans dead, and Cartels to be armed with thousands of guns, and who knows how many thousands of Mexican deaths. All while Obama was gallivanting around town with the Mexican president saying that our second Amendment was to blame for the gun violence in Mexico. I am sure race is somehow to blame here too.

this is way too crazy to comment on.... but what the hey, Is the litmus test for you to want someone to be held accountable that they must A)be white and GOP, B) be affiliated with the NWO, C) Affiliation with the Jewz or D) all of the above.

The chief counsel’s office for the Internal Revenue Service, headed by a political appointee of President Obama, helped develop the agency’s problematic guidelines for reviewing “tea party” cases, according to a top IRS attorney.
In interviews with congressional investigators, IRS lawyer Carter Hull said his superiors told him that the chief counsel’s office, led by William Wilkins, would need to review some of the first applications the agency screened for additional scrutiny because of potential political activity.
Previous accounts from IRS employees had shown that Washington IRS officials were involved in the controversy, but Hull’s comments represent the closest connection to the White House to date. The chief counsel’s office for the Internal Revenue Service, headed by a political appointee of President Obama, helped develop the agency’s problematic guidelines for reviewing “tea party” cases, according to a top IRS attorney.
