Everyone can blame dems for inflation. Everyone can blame dems for obesity caused by inflation. Everyone can blame dems for making people believe the govt will pay their way through life by printing money they never intend to pay back. Everyone can blame dems for all the jobs lost during 2020. Everyone can blame dems for the record unemployment numbers. Everyone can blame dems censoring information to the public. Everyone can blame dems not paying debts of debts of debts. Everyone can blame dems for all the hate in the world.

Because republicans understand that printing more money from the fed is going to put the country in hyperinflation and the poor will not be able to afford their basic needs. So the country might have to suffer by not raising the debt ceiling in the short term, but will prosper in the long term rather than raising the debt ceiling which will just prolong the paying back of debts and putting us in hyperinflation in which the poor and struggling will not be able to afford broccoli at the store. Thus putting more pressure on families which will have a direct result in domestic violence and obesity. Raising the debt ceiling would have a drastic effect on the economy and will cripple the poor and struggling families with basic bills. It's only kicking the can down the road.

Fubduh, you post alot, why don't you post your own thoughts on the cause and effect of raising or not raising the debt ceiling so we can come back to this in a few months and see how your ideas turn out?? Take a chance buddy.

It turns out that  adolf trump ordered his minions in congress to vote AGAINST raising the debt ceiling.

 Republicans seem to be currently celebrating the mentally ill. I mean, they are not even subtle about it; The mentally ill are their bread and butter voters at this point.

Moving ahead, here is the Republican Platform;

1. Worship the Idol of Donald Trump. Golden statues may be used in place of The Donald

2. Troll the Libs. Say outrageous shit that you don’t even believe. Make others angry.

3. Destroy the government. Put partisans and/or idiots in charge of government agencies

4. Fleece the Rubes. Take every opportunity to get money from your supporters.

All the other stuff, like being racists, screwing the poors, ignoring public health, ripping kids away from families, enriching the wealthy, ripping up international agreements? This just flows naturally from the 4 main policy planks above.

Which is far more comprehensive than their 2020 platform which only included #1.

It's sad they allowed themselves to become that, but you laid it out perfectly. 

At one time, I respected the old GOP party.
