One vote no. Looks like Flacco will be the Browns' starter and Pickett will be traded.
Stefanski is a yes man, butt boy for owner Haslam. After a successful first year, the head coach has not been able to build on his early success.
The owner's judgment is poor when it comes to football, and while the team has talent, it seems to be a rudderless ship with no captain.

I am a CLV fan. I am buoyed by the possibility that Rodgers could get injured again which would certainly close the gap. However 10 wins vs. 3 wins last season is a pretty big gap.
That gap is not fluky based on points scored and allowed - PIT was +33 points and CLV was -177 points.
Lots of people have produced grades of the 2025 NFL Draft. While I assume that one posted at NFL.com would itself be graded pretty highly, I don't know Gennaro Filice from the proverbial hole in the ground. He graded PIT #20 (B-) and CLV #6 (A-).

Even if Filice is a sharp analyst, it's hard to know how much playing time and how quickly any of these players will develop.
Good luck, OP. I am rooting for you and CLV.

I think you meant "Art Modell." An art model is somebody who does NOT look like Art Modell.

I would add that Pittsburgh under Tomlin is the breeding grounds for drama queens and problem children like Diontae Johnson, Martavis Bryant, Chase Claypool, George Pickens, Antonio Brown (as great as he was on the field). I posted about this on covers years ago, way before Shannon Sharpe ever mentioned it.
Would Lombardi, Noll, Belichick or any other head coach with common sense put up with it? Yet, in the mainstream sports' media, Tomlin gets credit for holding it together whereas in reality his poor judgment and enabling created this turmoil.
Of course aside from Sharpe, the reportage is all about honoring St. Mike Tomlin which is horse manure. The locals in Pittsburgh get it, after years of supporting Tomlin and now think it is time for Tomlin to walk.
The 'woke/weak' owner's adherence to the Rooney Rule prevents him from firing him no matter what, but time is ticking and Art Deuce will be 74 in September so it is just a matter of time before he is a footnote in NFL history to the relief of Steeler Nation.

The Steelers with Mike Tomlin have been building a bridge to nowhere for about 15 years. It's very entertaining to watch all of the nonsense required to spin this dumpster fire as having anything to do with building a championship team.
Find something else to do instead of supporting this low mentality NFL team. Excellence is the only thing worth supporting and you won't find any of that excellence in a team coached by Mike Tomlin. Boycott!

Saw that last week. Took me a minute to realize all the teams he was on. Agree 100%, smh indeed.
I think the Browns are going to try what Atlanta did right after they traded Matt Ryan, or what the Cardinals did after Kyler had that knee injury - just play everybody, see what you have, and trade/cut the older players to make the roster younger.
