Wanting to puke. Had 10 separate bets on Bills ML…

Never have I lost so much on one game.  Twice I thought it was over too.  But a stupid Hail Mary prayer PI and even dumber 12 men on the field penalty.  Seriously going to puke.  Not sure how I’m going to sleep tonight

 How can you bet a prime-time game when it opened at -9 and the whole world was on the Bills. It then went down to 7.5 with all those money line parlays and teasers on the Bills. Shake it off and just learn from it.

Do yourself a favor and stop betting. I had the same feeling week 5 and haven’t bet since. Watching all these games without money on the line, you really tell yourself “damn this stuff is pure garbage”… especially with prime time always being under lol

  And u didn't even bother to hedge once Bills went up 22-21 with 2 minutes to go...Live line was Denver +180 and Bills -217....If u had that much on the line in parlays..u definitely hedge with what u saw in the game...Bills had no business winning that game with 4 turnovers...

 Bro, my posted plays hit, BUT the live game plays were losing and losing and losing, until i hit a miraculous ONCE IN A LIFETIME bet +345 1st play of drive RUSH... i bet heavy so that +345 came in clutch. MY point is, sometimes we get lucky and other times we get our asses handed to us. You will bounce back. Dont lose sleep over it. Money comes and goes, it will come back to you somehow.  Best of luck brother

 it sounds like he place EVERYTHING on bills and didn't remember (or know) to keep some for insurance or hedge. He made a mistake, He doesn't need people telling him he did bad, he's already learned the lesson.

I'm more a small time bettor and did a long shot parlay before i left for a work trip last night.  5 leg parlay just need the Broncos to stay under 21.5 team points.  This game went exactly how i expected, ugly turnover-fest coming down to the last play. 

You could say i was fortunate even having a chance at the end with those missed FG's by Denver, but Josh Allen and the Bills set them up how many times with great field position???  Broncos offense was ass and Buffalo's D got worn out saving the offense

How in GODS NAME do you get that 12 man on the field penalty? 

Take a break from football for a week or two and do something productive or active on Sundays instead. You will feel a lot better. You may never forget this loss... but hopefully you'll also learn to never have too much exposure on one game... If you psychologically are prone to chasing your losses or using bet sizes that are too big if you lose... then yes you should not be betting at all. Sports betting is a poison and the losses hurt a lot more than the wins feel good... Sometimes wins suck too, because you realize you could have made more spending your time on something else... Poker, sports betting, day trading, or any other outlet with high variance takes PSYCHOLOGICAL discipline to succeed... Its the first and most important skill to have. The sports books beat good bettors just from normal variance... They aren't bankrolled properly or can't control their bet sizes when they hit a streak of negative variance... So a 54 or 55% winner becomes a huge loser...

But yea what Jpot said... Never have too much on a big public side in a primetime game ESPECIALLY if they are a 7.5 or 8.5 favorite... All your "Youtube pros" from Youtube tout channels are all telling you to Wong tease that stuff... Its a public bet now.. and most places you can't even pay 120 or lower... So many games end on 1 and 2 now... 

Through week 10 we have had 

18 games decided by 3 

And

15 games decided by 1 or 2

So yea too many games now are decided by 1 or 2 now.. This means... I do not tease favorites down from 7.5 or 8.5 anymore… 

I think there STILL is value teasing up +2.5 or +1.5 dogs (if the total is low) though…

Like Jpot said… It basically was a perfect storm tonight to fade Buffalo. 

A) The public won overall in the morning games, the afternoon games, AND the night game yesterday…
B) Public and sports touts were all teasing the Bills down tonight…

C) It was a prime time game

Also when you log on to covers and you see like 50 threads of people live betting Bills and that there is not way it loses… you know Broncos might be a good bet…

Yes I realize all this analysis is Monday morning quarterbacking and after the fact… but...

TLDR never bet too much on a public side.

It’s actually the reason you lost is because everybody and their mother had bill money line on their parlays or teasers.

Sad to say that still isn’t even the worst way these brain surgeon Bills lost the last few years. Last year against the Vikings these dumb fucks just had to take a knee. Allen fumbles the ball in the end zone for a Vikings TD and lose in OT. Clearly Allen is just a natural born loser.

Since last year all i really play is 13 pt teasers.. if you had either side and  either O/U you would have won... had bills and under w. Det and over for this game... yeah you pay the vig but your chances imo are much higher... plus you can have action on multiple games

 I have been there many many times. Except I was down so much and basically had my life on the game with the best team vs worst team at home. The one thing I learned is anyone can beat anyone. M.l. and teasers with big favs. Is a waste of time. Your better off losing on the dog almost every time. This week I already see Miami, s.f. and det. Teasers going in. Looks like an easy 10pt teaser win. It's just not worth sweating out 3 games at minus huge odds. Just doesn't pay enough.

 learn from this.   never bet so much on one game that it destroys you like this.  this is a marathon, not a sprint.  hedging is good sometimes.  broncos were +300 ml before the game  a smaller investment on them would have made this sting less.   all of this is easier said then done, most gamblers have to learn the hard way.
