I see a few different ways Thorton gets in and gets a catch. If he does, it will be 10 yards.

He has THREE touchdowns on the year and averages 40 yards per game. You want to sideline him the WHOLE game?

Against a team weak against the pass?

Always a consideration. I have memories of them expanding leads late in the game though in recent years. I think their coach prefers to play their game until the clock is under 6 minutes in the 4th quarter.

Of course you are right in a close game or end of game, but 3rd q/early 4th quarter, I think they play for the fun of the game.
