You've asked me what I was going to do for this game. Here it is:
10 units on the Saints ML
But you (and everyone else) should know that this isn't real wagering for me per se. I don't think I'm getting value (still could win, but paying around 2:1 is high IMO). This is personal for me and I will keep this separate from my normal betting stats (that I keep). This is an insurance policy for me. I asked myself what amount of money would I be willing to lose to see MN in the SB (the utility I would get from finally having them make it after 3 failed attempts)....as well as what kind of money would help take a little of the sting away if MN loses. And this is what I came up with. This is not smart sports wagering, it's personal insurance for me.
FYI, I am also not planning on watching the game. If MN loses, then it will just be "typical Vikings" and I can move on. If MN wins, then I'll watch the game on DVR and get drunk. Just about had a heart attack last week and that wasn't even a tight game. Going to the hockey rink Sunday night to work off the nervous energy.
So there you have it.
