A stiff ? Are you serious ? 5 Superbowls ? and 2 losses on a fluke catch from Eli within the final minutes.. Was that his fault ? He did his job.
I would guarantee you that 26 teams would trade for him in a NY minute..Look at all the teams that tried to get Peyton.
Let me ask you.. If you were the captain in scrimmage game on a field near your house. And you were able to choose player and any Quarterback, out of today's starters in the NFL And, you were first to choose. Who would you take ?
I guess you'd take Eli because you're probably from NY. But everyone else would take Brady.

if's n but's were candy n nuts...love em or hate em, the Patriots with Brady at the helm have been and still are a quality football team.
Brady is a top 5 qb in the NFL, (has been for years) whether you like him or not. this is a fact man.

the guy is smart, works with what he's got, goes deep when he has deep threats, Branch, Moss. Now he has 2 wicked T.E. and Welker so he dinks and dunks ya all the way down the field. whatever works for ya. bottom line is he wins a hell of alot more than he loses.
ya his division is garbage, he don't pick his opponents. and ya he has one of the best coaches in the business. he got luck that way i suppose.
"you could replace Brady with 40 Q.B. and still win 12-16 games a season" hmm o.k. i can't agree with you on that one man. guy has won some pretty big/tough games in his career.

Ever since that tuck rule game in 2001, where Brady fumbled but got the advantage i've never been a fan of him, he's over inflated and im not even a Raiders fan. I'd take Sanchez any day..
Or maybe even Tebow

Brady not a top 5 qb in the NFL now....HAHAHA...name me 5 qb's better....I would give you Brees and Rodgers...that is about it and it can be argued Brady is better. Brady is probably a top 5 qb that has ever played in the NFL.
He doesn't attempt many passes down field because the offense isn't designed that way. There are no speed burners on the Pats offense so why throw it down field. I think it is amazing how Brady completes these passes under 20yds when everyone knows that is where he is going and his accuracy allows the recievers to pick up those YAC's.
Sure his stats were bad on passes over 20yds, but like I said, he did not have the weapons to throw down field. How was he on passes over 20yds when he set all those single season qb records.
Joe Montana threw many balls under 20yds that Jerry Rice took to the house. Would you say there were 5 qbs better than him because he didn't throw the ball over 20yds.
Brady will do it again this year and eventually you gotta give the guy credit when year in and year out he is at the top of the league in every statistical category and he is at the top of the league in the most important stat; team record.

Bill Bellichek, Tom Brady, patchwork offense and mostly no name skill players, 3 rings, almost another 2 rings if it wasn't for the Giants balanced team, just win mentality, Brady has a better TD/Int ratio than Peyton in playoffs, crap defense.

WTF are "no name skill players"?? LOL you obviously know jack shit about football..
2001- Troy Brown (voted into Pats HOF) just another 'patchwork' player huh? Kevin Faulk pretty decent back. OH and a defense ranked 6th.
2003- Troy Brown, Kevin Faulk.. Meh not the best but uh oh wait.. FIRST ranked defense.
2004- Again Troy Brown, Deion Branch, and Corey Dillon in his prime.. just a few more chumps. OH their defense that year? ranked 2nd.
Brady hasn't had the best supporting cast offensively BUT in the 3 years he won the Superbowl his defenses were ranked; 1st, 2nd, and 6th respectively. Who was the mastermind behind that defense? Romeo Crennel. A damn good coordinator. So enough with all that "Brady has to do it all himself for them to win" because it IS NOT TRUE.
The years Brady "led" his team to a championship he had a top defense, I admit in the last few years if the Pats want a chance at a Superbowl Brady has to do it all for them to win it all. But guess what? HE CANT he hasnt done it in 8 years and counting!!! He isnt the greatest of all time not even close so some of you please get your heads out of your asses.
There it is, the Tom Brady "greatness'' myth finally debunked.

I didn't know Brady also played defense. I always thought it was a team sport.
Basically everything you say about Brady can also be said about Peyton and Rodgers so I guess they all suck.
Any team besides Giants and I think the Pats would have gotten another 2 rings regardless of the Pats horrible d, and that's saying alot.

The length of his passes seems to have no bearing on his overall passing numbers...he would have broke Marino's record last year if Brees didnt. It's no FYI that the last deep threat they have had over the last 10 years is Randy Moss also - He and Brady broke touchdown marks when he was in town.
I don't believe they're called checkdowns either, rather a progression of reads. They never really send anyone vertical to create a 'checkdown' in the first place. The game against Baltimore in the playoffs last year is what is probably standing out the most in peoples' minds. His career stats are remarkable with 300td's to 115int's and around 40k yards and a 63.8 completion percentage. The Pats have something like 9 10-win seasons in a row.
Also, this is a forum for gambling discussion. I don't see what the hell this has to do with the Pats ATS
